Welcome to Quiet Bloom.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Perhaps lying down or seated,
Even standing is just fine.
Wherever you are,
Allow your body to feel fully supported.
Taking a moment here to arrive.
Just let yourself land.
Gently close your eyes.
And notice your breath.
Observing the natural rhythm as you inhale.
And as you exhale.
Allow each breath to flow easily.
Invite your shoulders to soften away from your ears.
Unclench your jaw.
Allow the muscles and structures of your face.
Forehead,
Your cheeks,
Your eyes to be smooth and at ease.
Allow your body to feel heavy.
To feel supported by the ground beneath you.
Bring your awareness to the base of your spine.
This is your foundation.
You might imagine a small point of warmth here.
A warm light or a gentle glow.
And from this space,
Begin to visualize roots growing from your spine.
Growing outward to the earth beneath you.
A soft unfolding at first just as they begin to form.
And with each breath,
These roots slowly start to grow more and more.
Becoming stronger.
And steady as they extend down,
Moving through your body.
Reaching toward the earth beneath you.
The roots move through whatever is supporting you.
Through the chair.
Through the floor.
Into the earth below you.
This feels effortless,
A natural unfolding as you breathe.
With each inhale,
The roots lengthen and become stronger.
And with each exhale they settle.
Anchoring,
Spreading out.
Taking hold.
With each breath this warm glow,
This golden light brightens and expands as the roots stretch deeper and take hold.
These roots move through the layers of earth.
The soil.
Darkness,
The steady and the quiet beneath you.
There is no rush as these roots grow at their own pace.
There is no timeline or deadline.
They simply continue to grow.
As they nourish you.
As you breathe,
Allow the roots to branch out,
Reaching wide and steady,
Creating a strong,
Supportive network beneath you.
You are held.
You are supported.
You are anchored.
Now as you feel steady and tethered to the earth,
Invite a sense of grounding.
And as you breathe,
Know that you are safe.
And nurtured.
You are supported and loved.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Allowing anything that feels heavy,
Any sensations of tension,
Or overwhelmed.
To leave you with each exhale safely traveling down through these roots Releasing from your body.
Just allowing any sensations of feeling stuck.
To move away from you.
And as you inhale,
You might imagine a sensation of nourishment coming back to the body.
A sense of steadiness and calm.
Feeling supported.
Drawing up that energy through the roots back into your body and into your mind.
Accepting whatever it is that you need right now as you breathe.
Accepting a sense of stability.
A sense of calm.
A sense of ease.
Allow this back and forth to continue as you breathe,
Receiving on the inhale.
And releasing on the exhale.
You are here,
Rooted and grounded and supported.
Gently and slowly start to bring awareness back to your body.
Maybe that warm glowing light.
Moves up through the roots,
Through the earth,
Into your feet.
Up your legs.
The base of your spine.
Up your spine to your shoulders,
Down your arms.
Moving back up through the neck.
The base of the skull.
And all the way up to the crown of your head.
Notice the space around you.
The points of contact between your body and the support beneath and around you.
The quality of the air in the room.
Warmth,
The smells.
The air on your skin.
Take a slow,
Deep inhale.
And an easy releasing exhale.
Wherever you go from here,
May you feel a little more anchored.
A little more grounded,
And a little more held.
Be well.
