You have something you want to make.
A page to fill.
A canvas to begin.
An idea that felt alive when it first arrived.
And then you sat down to work and nothing came.
Or something came but it was not good enough.
You started,
You stopped.
You've been avoiding it entirely.
Because the gap between what you imagined and what you can make feels too wide to cross.
That is creative block and it lives in the body as much as in the mind.
This is your EFT tapping session for when you feel creatively blocked.
Not to force anything.
But to gently clear.
What has been standing between you and the thing you most want to make.
I invite you to find a comfortable position.
Let your body settle.
Close your eyes if that feels comfortable.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And a long breath out through your mouth.
Again,
Breathing in.
And letting go.
One more time,
Inhale slowly.
And exhale fully.
Relaxing completely.
Before we begin tapping,
Bring to mind your creative block right now.
The thing you've been avoiding or the blank page or the inner voice that says it will never be good enough.
Feel into it honestly.
Give it a number from 0 to 10.
10 being completely blocked and stuck.
Zero being open and flowing freely.
Note that number.
We're going to move it.
Bring your fingers to the karate chop point on the side of your hand and begin tapping gently,
Repeating after me.
Even though I feel creatively blocked.
Even though I feel creatively blocked.
I deeply and completely accept myself.
I deeply and completely accept myself.
Even though I cannot access my creativity right now,
I choose to be gentle with myself.
I choose to be gentle with myself.
Even though I'm afraid it will not be good enough.
Even though I'm afraid it will not be good enough.
I'm willing to open to my creativity now.
I'm willing to open to my creativity now.
Stop tapping on the side of your hand.
And bring your fingers to the inner edge of your eyebrows.
Begin tapping softly and repeat after me.
This creative block.
This creative block.
Tapping on the outside of the eye.
I could not get started.
I could not get started.
Tapping under the eye.
The blank page is waiting.
The blank page is waiting.
Tapping under the nose.
And I am stuck.
And I am stuck.
Tapping on the chin.
My inner critic is loud.
My inner critic is loud.
Tapping on the collarbone.
It will not be good enough.
It will not be good enough.
Tapping under the arm,
So I'm not even trying.
So I'm not even trying.
And tapping on the top of the head.
All this creative energy blocked and stuck.
All this creative energy blocked and stuck.
Stop tapping.
Take a slow breath in.
And release it completely.
We'll move into round two of the tapping.
Starting with the inner eyebrow.
What if I could release this block?
What if I could release this block?
Tapping on the outside of the eye.
I release the fear of starting.
I release the fear of starting.
Tapping under the eye,
I release the inner critic I release the inner critic.
Tap the end of the nose.
It does not have to be perfect.
It does not have to be perfect.
Tap it on the chin.
It just has to be mine.
It just has to be mine.
Tapping on the collarbone.
I release the pressure.
I release the pressure.
Tapping under the arm.
I am allowed to make something imperfect.
I'm allowed to make something imperfect.
And tapping on the top of the head.
I release this creative block now.
I release this creative block now.
Stop tapping.
Take a deep breath in.
And release slowly and completely.
We'll move into our final round of tapping.
This one is opening to possibility.
Starting with the inner eyebrow.
I am open to my creativity.
I am open to my creativity.
Tapping on the outside of the eye.
I have a unique voice that wants to come through me.
I have a unique voice that wants to come through me.
Tapping into the eye.
I give it permission.
I give it permission.
Tapping under the nose.
I do not need to force it.
I do not need to force it.
Tapping on the chin.
I just need to begin.
I just need to begin.
Tapping on the collarbone.
My creativity is still here.
Wanting to be expressed.
My creativity is still here,
Wanting to be expressed.
Tapping under the arm.
It has been here all along.
It is being here all along.
And tapping on the top of the head.
I am ready to create.
I am ready to create.
Stop tapping.
Take one long,
Slow breath in.
And let it go completely.
Let your hands rest where they fall.
Let your face soften and relax.
That your shoulders drop.
Your whole body settles Release any tension or stress that you're holding in Let it go completely Now check back in with that number from 0 to 10.
Where are you now?
Remember,
10 is feeling blocked.
And zero is feeling creatively flowing.
Notice the shift.
However large or small.
That block is beginning to loosen.
That is your creative self receiving a signal that it's safe to emerge.
It's safe to express.
It's safe to have a unique voice and share it.
Your creativity is not gone.
It is not broken.
It is not missing.
It did not leave you.
It has simply gone quiet underneath the pressure.
Of needing to get it right.
And the pressure is the one thing that creativity cannot work under.
What it needs instead is exactly what you gave it.
A little space,
A little gentleness,
A signal from your nervous system that it's safe to play again,
That you can have fun.
So when you are ready,
Open your eyes,
Pick up whatever you want to make,
And begin.
Not perfectly,
Not impressively,
Just begin and enjoy the process.
Because the thing you make when you stop trying to make it perfect is almost always the most genuinely yours.
I wish you a great day,
Make something special,
And have fun.
