You're standing in the middle of an old growth forest.
All the giant cedars.
Surrounded by ferns.
Blanketed As far as you can see.
And As you feel the breeze come through the woods.
Just feel your feet on the spongy ground.
Take a deep breath in.
And help.
And in.
I hope.
Not far behind you,
There's a river flowing.
And the canopy opens up.
Bright blue sky,
Mountains.
The sun is.
.
.
Hi,
At noon.
It's filtering down.
Through the branches of these giant old trees.
And the smaller,
Younger ones.
And As you stand on the trail looking out into the woods,
Just breathe.
Maybe lift your shoulders to your ears.
Drop them down.
Roll them around.
You're making bigger circles with your arm.
Maybe.
Doing a bit of a twist side to side.
Keep twisting as long as it feels good.
Keep breathing.
And come to stillness.
Maybe wiggle your legs a little.
Big inhale.
And a big exhale and let everything go.
Feeling really relaxed now.
And you start to tune in to the birds.
Let me look up higher into the canopy.
Where you think you might see them.
And keep breathing in and out.
And as you listen to these birds,
You feel a smile creeping in.
For the corners of your mouth.
As you look up.
Sun in your face.
Maybe you close your eyes.
With that smile and that sun,
Just have a deep breath.
Maybe just take one step to the right.
Facing 90 degrees from where you were.
Now a whole new view opens up.
You might find yourself swaying lightly.
Just passing your weight from one foot to the other.
Just mimicking the branches you see.
Just swaying lightly in the wind.
And take a deep breath here.
And as you exhale,
Just take one more step to the right.
I have a new view again.
More trees,
More ferns,
More swaying branches.
Take a deep breath here.
And another breath in.
And as you exhale,
Stepping one step to the right again.
90 degrees again.
Facing another way.
It's still swaying maybe.
Maybe bringing your hands to your heart.
Maybe feeling that smile creep in once again.
Just feeling.
Content and belonging here.
And breath in.
Hello.
One more step to the right.
Now you're back where you started.
And one big tree captures your attention and you let your eyes follow it up.
Inhaling as you look up.
And when you find the top way up in the sky exhaling as you look it slowly down following the line of the trunk down.
Where it joins the earth.
I'm feeling centered here.
Start to think about transitioning back.
To wherever you are.
Maybe bringing that contentment,
That belonging with you wherever you go today.
