Hello,
We're going to do a little guided meditation,
Quite a short one today.
So to start with,
Just take a couple of deep cleansing breaths and try moving your body just a bit,
Maybe lifting your arms above your head with your breath a few times,
Maybe swinging your arms side to side,
Shaking off any stress,
And just close your eyes and imagine you're sitting on a log beside a tiny little bubbling stream that's flowing off the hillside down to the ocean waters below.
And maybe you can hear the waves gently lapping in the distance and everything is very peaceful.
It's a warm spring evening,
A light cover of clouds interspersed with bright blue sky here and there.
The sun is obscured and there's a nice dusky kind of glow as you picture the setting.
Continue to breathe.
And all you have to do is just be here in this place.
Just breathe and feel the sense of calm come over you.
The same calm that is all around you in this quiet place.
All you can see are the trees and the rocks and the water,
Clouds,
That bright blue sky,
And across the water,
The mountains on the distant shore.
And those two are shrouded in clouds and all is peaceful and calm.
And that peaceful calm starts in your breath and as you inhale,
Every cell in your body fills up with this calm,
Peaceful feeling.
And as you exhale,
That calm,
Peaceful feeling just overflows from every cell.
Until your body is flowing with this sense of peace.
Bubbling along,
Just like the stream.
And you feel completely at ease.
Start to feel,
Smile,
The corners of your lips.
And gaze around the sense of satisfaction that this is all you need to be doing.
All you need to be seeing.
And all you need to be hearing.
And with a few more deep breaths,
You just enjoy this place.
You start to notice your body again.
Your shoulders are relaxed down.
Your neck is feeling good.
Maybe you stretch it a little bit.
Do some circles.
Bring some movement into your arms again.
Stretching out,
Reaching up.
Maybe looking up at the sky.
And you slowly open your eyes or stay here for as long as you like.
