Hello and welcome to your five-minute love letter meditation.
It's Jamie Dorn here and I wanted to give you some space to get comfortable.
Take a seat or lie down and let's just begin to soften the body and the breath,
If it feels good in your body.
Closing your eyes if that feels safe.
Gently bring one hand to your heart and the other to your belly.
Here together let's take a deep breath in our nose and let it go.
Again breathing in your nose and sighing it out.
Now I want you to bring to mind an image of your heart,
Your beautiful heart,
Wise and tender.
Your heart is offering you a letter,
Not in words but in feelings.
From your heart to you,
All my love,
I see how much you carry.
I feel every unspoken ache,
Every quiet hope.
Thank you for staying,
For showing up,
For trying.
I know it can be hard and so especially when it's hard.
I'm not here to rush you.
I only want you to listen to me,
To us.
Allow yourself to feel what's here without fixing,
Without shame,
Without guilt.
That sadness,
It's welcome.
That longing within,
It matters.
You don't have to do more,
Just be here with me.
What do we want more of?
Gentleness,
Slowness,
Laughter,
Space,
Touch.
Can we give more of that to ourselves,
Even just a little?
I promise to keep speaking with you,
To keep coming back to you,
With endless love for your heart.
Taking a deep breath in,
Feel into the words,
Into what rose within you.
And over the next few moments,
I want you to ask yourself gently,
What do I need more of in my life right now?
Sitting with it,
What do I need more of in my life right now?
Paying attention to the words and the sensations that come forward.
And then when you're ready,
Place that word or that sentence or that sensation like a prayer into your heart,
Safe.
Then breathe,
Feel and return to this moment,
Dropping your senses back into the space and back into your body.
It doesn't require a lot from us to connect with our heart,
Just some time,
Some space.
When you're ready,
Gently begin to blink your eyes open.
