The Now — You're Never *Not* Present — Time vs Distraction
In this reassuring message, Oliver Gohari explains how the past, present, and future are all mental constructs — and that we are always in the Now. He invites us to contemplate our thoughts about the future, our thoughts about the past, and how all thoughts exist in the mind during the present moment. This is a profound message that can positively impact our perception of the world around us and how we navigate life gracefully.

The present moment or the now is all there ever is The present moment and the now is eternal.
It doesn't go away.
It doesn't change.
It's only the mind.
Which creates time,
It's only in the mind which creates future,
Present and past It can be very useful on a practical level.
I've got a watch on here and I know that at a certain time I've got a one-on-one call later and I can't be late for it.
Many of you will have jobs that you need to be on time for.
Time exists on a mental level.
But on an experiential quantum level,
Time is a total illusion.
All there is is the present moment.
When you think about the future It happens in the now.
Even if you think about Your plans for Sunday evening?
Those plans are occurring in the present moment.
Same thing goes for the past.
If you're thinking about what happened yesterday at 3pm.
If you're thinking about someone you talked to on the phone a week ago,
That thought happens in the present moment.
The past when it did occur,
When the past did occur When did it happen?
It happened in the now.
The past didn't occur in the past.
It occurred in this field,
Which we call the present moment.
And when the future does occur,
It will occur in this field of consciousness that we call the present moment.
That's profound and that's.
.
.
The more we can embody that and feel that better we'll feel.
Because it doesn't matter how hard you try,
You can never not be present,
You can never not be centered.
You can be distracted.
You can be.
.
.
Unfocused You can take the light of awareness onto a small object and become distracted in thought,
But you're never not present.
