Come travel with me on a meditative journey to the windswept coast of Western France. In Brittany, the weather is beautifully unpredictable and the Atlantic Ocean moves with a magnificent, untamed force.
Our journey begins at a hidden lagoon on the southern coast of Brittany. As the tide turns, we witness the rhythmic dance of the ocean: at low tide, fishing boats rest quietly on the marsh, while high tide invites the wild, bracing wind. Against the backdrop of the open Atlantic, we watch kitesurfers navigate the elements: wild wind, open sea!
When the winds of life threaten to overpower us, we can learn to let the wind carry us to where we need to go. We can face the day with both calm, and courage.

And welcome to Calmer Journeys. My name is Nikki. And today. I'm taking you on a trip. To the windy coast. Of Western France. This region has various names, But for the sake of pronunciation. Will go with the English name. Brittany. The weather is often unpredictable. In the Atlantic Ocean's water. Is a magnificent force. That truly feels alive. Are you ready? Let's travel to a tiny coastal town. In Brittany. And here. On its south side. We find a little lagoon. During low tide. It empties. And you see fishing boats lie on their sides in the marsh. But at high tide. Water pools and rises. And by mid-morning. On a perfect summer day. You might find kite surfers. Pumping up their gear. Along the water's edge. You see. This region of France is also known for its wild winds. And just across the road. Towards the open sea. The Atlantic Ocean. The view expands. And here too. Are a handful of adventurous travelers. Testing their skills on the open water. You see the contrasts of nature's elements. A strong wind. Needed to propel those kites. But once powered, They glide. Gracefully. Over the waves. Silently. Steadily. Skillfully. Close your eyes if you can. And picture them now. Sounds of waves. Song of Winds. That is all. Where one can breathe. Fresh air. You inhale deeply. And exhale. Perhaps you slip off your shoes. And just feel the warm sand. In Asia. Perhaps you sink into a resting pose. Watching the kite surfers. Observing other travelers. Simply. Enjoying the view. Or maybe you venture out. Into the water. Feel its coolness on your skin. And allow yourself. To be. Completely. In this moment. Inhale calm again. And exhale. And he waits. You are carrying.
