We would like you to close your eyes and focus on your breath.
Once you do,
I want you to take three deep breaths,
Breathing in slowly through your nose,
Allowing your diaphragm to expand as you inhale,
And as you exhale,
Contracting that diaphragm,
Releasing all that air,
And feeling your lungs emptying.
Inhaling again a second time,
Feeling those lungs with as much air as you're capable of,
Feeling the expansion in your body and the energy flowing,
And slowly exhaling,
Releasing all that air,
And feeling how your body moves all that energy around.
At the end of that exhale,
Let's inhale for a third and final time,
Big inhale,
And we will hold for a couple of seconds and very,
Very slowly exhale.
As you return to a comfortable breathing pace,
A pace that is not forced,
Is not fast,
It is just perfect for you.
Now,
I want you to shift your attention to your chest,
Seeing how that chest rises each time that you inhale,
And how it lowers with each exhale.
Let's move our attention now to the bottom center of your ribcage,
The place where your lungs end and your stomach begins,
This is called your solar plexus area,
Your center of power,
Confidence,
And a sense of identity.
It governs how you show up in the world and make decisions and ultimately take action.
When this center is healthy and balanced,
You feel clear,
Self-assured,
And aligned.
Visualize this center bright,
Strong,
And growing with you.
This center is growing within you as much as you are growing within your energy,
First expanding in your chest cavity,
Continuing to fill up your body,
And continuing to grow beyond your body.
As this energy center grows,
So does your sense of confidence and your sense of power.
There is nothing you can't accomplish because you know that everything you need is within you.
Gently now bring your mind unto your awareness,
To that thing that you have been avoiding.
Maybe it's a special project,
Maybe it's a new endeavor,
Maybe a difficult conversation,
Or maybe something completely different.
You keep avoiding this particular activity or project,
But it keeps whispering back to you.
Do not force it and allow it to appear naturally into the center of your awareness.
Notice what comes up in your body as you think about it.
Is it tension?
Is it fear?
Hesitation or doubt?
Simply observe it without any judgment.
Bring now your attention back to your solar plexus,
That bright,
Expanded center of power within you.
With every inhale,
Feel it getting stronger,
And with every exhale,
Feel it dissolving any fear,
Any doubt,
Any tension,
And releasing it to the powerful universe.
Visualize yourself now taking the first step towards that project that keeps whispering.
Do not visualize the entire journey,
Just the first aligned action.
See yourself doing that first step with calm confidence,
With clarity,
With certainty that nothing can go wrong because it's just a small first step.
Notice your body feeling grounded,
Capable,
And ready as you take that first small step.
Let that feeling expand,
Let it fill your entire body.
This is the true version of who you are.
This is you in your full power.
You are not becoming this version of you.
You are remembering it.
Everything you need is already within you.
The clarity,
The courage,
The capability.
When you're ready,
Take one deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Anchor this feeling into your body,
Knowing that this is always available to you,
You just have to access it when the opportunity comes and the moment to act arrives in front of you.
You will recognize this opportunity because it will feel like coming home.
Take a final deep breath in as deep as you can,
And exhale with a sigh,
And gently bring your awareness back to your body,
To the space around you,
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
