Something happened. Maybe recently. Maybe a long time ago that still lives in your body as if it were yesterday. And in the wake of it, a voice arrived. One that took that one moment and made it mean something much larger. Something about who you are. What you deserve. Whether you are fundamentally good. That voice is shame. And it is one of the heaviest things a person can carry. This practice won't ask you to pretend it didn't happen. It won't offer you a quick fix or an easy forgiveness. Instead it gently guides you beyond the shame, to a place where you can hold what happened with honesty, and hold yourself with equal honesty. Because making mistakes is not evidence that you are bad. It is evidence that you are human. Something happened. And you are still good.
