Hey there,

I'm really glad you're here.

Take a moment just for you.

No pressure,

No expectations.

Think of this as a gentle pause,

Like sitting down with a friend who truly gets it.

Life can feel like a lot sometimes,

And it takes courage to slow down and be present with yourself.

You don't have to be anywhere else or do anything more than just arrive here exactly as you are.

However you're feeling right now,

Tired,

Unsure,

Hopeful,

Messy,

It's all welcome.

Let's begin together.

Find a quiet space,

Or as quiet as you can manage right now.

There's no need for perfection,

Only presence.

Just a small intentional moment carved out just for you.

A pause,

A breath.

Sit or lie down in a way that feels safe,

Supported and kind to your body.

You might want a cushion,

Or a blanket,

Or simply the comfort of stillness.

If it feels okay,

Gently close your eyes.

If not,

Just let your gaze soften and lower.

Let this be a space where you don't have to hold it all together,

Where you can simply be just as you are,

Without needing to fix or change a thing.

Begin by gently placing one hand over your heart and the other on your belly.

Feel the warmth of your own touch.

Notice the rise and fall beneath your hands,

The quiet rhythm of life moving through you.

Let this touch become an anchor,

A gentle signal to your nervous system that you are here,

That this moment is safe enough.

With every breath,

Feel your body responding,

Softening,

Grounding,

Returning home.

Allow yourself to receive this contact as you would a comforting embrace.

Steady,

Reassuring and full of care.

You are here,

You are safe.

You are held.

Take a slow,

Steady breath in through the nose,

And a soft releasing sigh out through your mouth,

Making your exhale slightly longer than your inhale.

Let's do that again.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Let this be the rhythm.

No pressure to deepen or perfect it.

Just notice your breath arriving and leaving,

Like waves returning to the shore.

Let your breath find you.

Now bring your awareness to these words.

Let them land softly.

If it helps,

Say them silently in your mind after I do.

Even though I feel unsettled,

I am still here.

Even though I don't have all the answers,

I am still here.

Even though I feel disconnected,

I am still worthy of love and care.

Even though it hurts,

I honour my tenderness.

I am allowed to be unsure and still be enough.

My presence matters.

My voice matters.

I matter.

There's no need to force these words.

Just let them ripple through you like the breeze through trees.

Let them settle where they need to.

Now,

Imagine your breath as a tide,

Gently washing in,

Gently flowing out,

Soft and steady.

With every inhale,

A sense of arrival.

With every exhale,

A softening,

A release.

Let your breath be a thread that ties you to this moment.

Let it hold you.

Let it remind you.

This moment is safe enough.

You don't need to solve or fix anything right now.

You only need to be here with what's real,

With what's true for you.

Notice if there's any part of your body that wants to shift,

Stretch or soften.

Maybe your jaw,

Your shoulders,

Your hands,

Perhaps your chest.

Let those parts speak.

Give yourself permission to let go,

Just a little more,

Just five or ten percent.

And now,

Take one more breath in through the nose and out through the mouth with the sound if that feels good.

Begin to slowly return to your surroundings.

Wiggle your fingers or toes if that feels right.

Maybe offer yourself a little stretch,

A yawn or simply rest a moment longer.

Whenever you're ready,

Opening your eyes and you might want to take a sip of water or jot down a word or a phrase that stayed with you.

And remember,

You are still here and that in itself is a quiet kind of strength.

Namaste.
