Good morning.
You're here.
That is already something.
Before the day asks anything of you.
Before the lists begin.
Before the world remembers your name.
There is just this.
You.
Breathing.
Alive in the quiet.
Let that be enough for now.
Take a slow breath in.
And let it go.
Feel where your body meets the earth this morning.
The weight of you.
The warmth of you.
You don't have to be anything other than what you are right now.
Not more rested,
Not more ready,
Not further along.
You woke up and the day opened up for you anyway.
Somewhere right now,
The light is arriving.
Soft at first.
The way it always is.
Not rushing.
Not announcing itself.
Just coming.
The sun doesn't wonder if it deserves to rise today.
It doesn't check whether it did enough yesterday.
Is simply returns.
As it always has.
As you have.
Let that light touch something in you this morning.
The part that is tired.
Part that is tender.
The part that is still becoming.
You are allowed to be all of these things at once.
Today doesn't need to be extraordinary.
You don't need to arrive at it perfectly.
You don't need to have slept well enough or felt enough or healed enough.
You are not a problem to be solved before breakfast.
You are a person.
With a history that shaped you.
With a heart that has carried more than most people know.
With a quiet kind of courage that doesn't always get named.
And you are here.
Still.
Again.
Think of the trees this morning.
They didn't try to grow last night.
They just rested in the dark.
And in the resting something happened anyway.
Something is always happening in the quiet.
Even when you can't feel it.
Even when it seems like nothing is moving.
You are part of that same unhurried world.
Rooted.
Reaching.
Enough.
Let these words find you wherever you are this morning.
Not as instructions.
Just a reminder of what has always been true.
I am not behind.
I am not too much and I am not too little.
I carry within me everything I need for today.
I am allowed to grow slowly.
I am here.
I am rooted.
I am enough.
When you're ready.
Take one more slow breath in.
And let it go.
Carry something of this choir into your morning.
Even if it's just a thread of it,
A small remembering.
That before the day decides what it thinks of you.
You already know who you are.
Whenever you're ready.
Gently opening your eyes.
Good morning,
Let's begin.
Namaste.
You
