Take a deep breath.
As you exhale,
Let the eyes soften and gently close.
As you come to stillness,
As you allow the mind to release its grip,
Notice the flow of the breath as it moves in and out.
Begin to notice the body breathing itself.
Begin to witness the breath as life moving through you.
Stay attentive to how present you feel,
How calm,
How awake,
And yet notice how you're not doing a thing.
Feel the breath moving deeper through the belly,
The pelvic bowl,
The lower spine.
Keep following the breath as it moves you to a place of even deeper stillness.
There's a part of you that's gently calling for your attention.
It's the quietest part of your being.
It's the area of the body that feels the safest,
That holds the most warmth and light.
It's where you feel you can rest,
Open,
And just let go.
Move your attention towards it.
Feel how at ease and grounded you become when you focus on this part of yourself,
The most gentle,
Still,
Gracious parts of us are the gatekeepers to our essence,
Our wholeness,
Our soul.
They're not flashy or loud and it's impossible to hear their messages when we've been caught up in the chaos and static of the external.
It's a gift to communicate regularly with these parts of yourself.
Of who we really are and that's why if we've ignored them for too long,
Eventually they will ask us why we won't come home.
So this is your call.
Your call back towards yourself,
Your gentleness,
Your authentic vulnerability,
Your call to stillness,
Your call to come home.
Home is where we feel most grounded.
Home is where we can be fully ourselves without fear of judgment.
Home is where we no longer have to hold ourselves up,
Wear a mask or pretend that everything is okay when it's not.
When we each find the place within us that feels like home,
We know we can return to it at any time as we begin to realize we're always supported no matter what happens outside of us.
What a relief it is to know that after traveling so many weary roads,
We were right where we were supposed to be.
Take a deep breath into that spot in the body,
That place that called you home.
And as you exhale,
Notice how you're able to expand the energy out further into other areas of the body.
Notice the feeling growing.
Allow room for anything that wants to surface and release to do so now.
Maybe it didn't feel safe to come home before,
And that's okay.
Now you know it's safe to return.
Come home.
Breathe in as you feel fresh new oxygen moving through your cells.
Exhale and know that it's okay to surrender anything that no longer lives here.
Feel the ground beneath you now.
Feel how safe it is to live in your own skin.
Welcome home.
