Have you ever felt the forest breathe around you?
As if something ancient and unseen was watching with patience.
Timeless eyes.
Take a deep breath in.
And slowly exhale.
Again.
Breathing in through the nose.
And sighing out through the mouth.
With each breath,
Let your body soften.
Begin to settle in and prepare to meet Kununos.
Close your eyes and let yourself drift away to a realm forgotten by time.
This was before stones were chiseled and words inscribed.
The people spoke in hushed tones of a god.
Who emerged with the dawn of the wild world.
It is said that he was born in stillness between night and day when the first stag sprang from the shadows and the initial green shoot pierced through the dark soil.
From the breath of the creatures,
He formed his lungs.
From the roots of the mighty oak.
He fashioned his bones And from the changing seasons,
He discovered his eternal rhythm.
Antlers crowned his head like branches reaching for the sky.
And around him gathered the creatures of every forest and field.
To the hunter he gave balance.
To the farmer he gave fertility.
And to all who walk the earth.
He gave the reminder that we are never separated from nature.
We are part of its eternal circle.
Thus came Canunus,
The Horned One,
Guardian of abundance,
Of wild harmony,
Of life's sacred flow.
And tonight you will meet him to take his gift.
Do you remember your place in the cycle?
And to walk once more with the wild inside of you.
Now feel the surface beneath you holding you steady.
Imagine roots unfurling from your body.
Weaving down into the soil.
With every inhale,
Those roots draw strength from the deep earth.
And with every exhale,
They release tension,
Fear,
And all that no longer serves.
The earth welcomes you The Earth steadies you.
You are safe.
You are rooted.
Now in your mind's eye.
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a great forest.
It is twilight.
The sky glows with fading gold and the shadows stretch long across the land.
You take a step forward.
The ground is soft with moss.
The air carries the fresh green scent of pine and fern.
Above you,
Branches weave together like a living cathedral.
You can hear the distant call of a stag echoing through the trees.
You walk deeper.
Every step is steady.
Every breath.
Springs calm.
The forest seems alive.
Watching.
Listening.
And as you move forward,
You notice a faint glow ahead,
A circle of ancient stones waiting in a clearing.
You feel called towards it.
As though it has been expecting you.
You step into the stone circle.
The air shift.
The forest falls silent.
And then you sense him.
From the shadows of the circle a vast presence emerges.
Seated upon the earth cross-legged is Kanunos.
Antlers rise above his brow like branches of an ancient oak.
His eyes are fierce yet kind.
A gaze that pierces through time itself.
And around him the creatures of the wild gather.
A stag with watchful eyes.
A serpent coiling at his feet.
A ball resting near his side and a raven perched on its back.
Kounounos lifts his hand and in it rests a gift.
Perhaps a gleaming acorn?
Perhaps a small coin.
Or perhaps the feather of a bird.
Whatever form it takes,
Know that it is meant for you.
He extends it forward.
And a voice that rumbles like the heartbeat of the forest he speaks.
What you seek is already within the cycle.
I help you remember.
You reach out and you take his gift.
Feel its way?
Feel its energy seeping into your palm.
Into your heart.
Your entire being.
Place the gift gently against your chest.
Imagine energy flowing.
Through you now.
Like a river.
Wild.
Endless and abundant.
The gift of the Horned God awakens something within you.
Maybe a memory of wholeness.
Or of belonging.
Or maybe wild sacredness.
Feel the strength of your body.
The rhythm of your breath.
The steadiness of your heart.
You are part of the endless cycle of life.
Abundance is your birthright.
The wild within you is sacred.
And now hear these words as though spoken by Kununos himself.
Repeat them softly in your mind,
Letting them root within you.
I am rooted in the Earth's endless cycles.
Abundance flows to me and through me.
I walk in harmony with nature.
The wild within me is sacred.
Breathe these truths into your being and let them settle like seeds ready to grow.
The animals stir,
Melting back into the forest shadows.
Kununos lowers his hand,
His presence fading into stillness.
Yet you know he remains watching from the wild places.
Always near when called.
You bow your head in thanks and with steady steps you walk out of the stone circle.
Back through the twilight forest carrying his gift in your heart.
Feel the moss,
Soft beneath your feet.
The air cool against your skin.
The sound of the forest alive all around you.
When you are ready,
Begin to bring your awareness back to this moment.
Feel your body.
Feel the surface beneath you the breath.
Flowing steady and calm.
Now take a deep breath in.
And a slow breath out.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
And when you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Bringing with you the gift of Kununos.
Rooted,
Abundant and whole.
Embrace Kununos' blessing in your daily life.
May you find harmony in your connection with nature and may abundance consistently grace your life.
