Welcome back dear soul.
I am deeply grateful that you are here,
Continuing this sacred journey.
Today we arrive at the Heart Chakra,
Or Anahata in Sanskrit,
The radiant center of unconditional love,
Compassion,
Forgiveness,
And connection.
The Heart Chakra is located at the center of your chest,
Near your heart.
It is the between the lower chakras,
Connected to the physical world,
And the higher chakras,
Connected to spirit and wisdom.
When the Heart Chakra is balanced,
You feel at peace with yourself and others.
Love flows naturally.
You give and receive with ease,
Without fear or expectation.
There is a sense of openness,
Kindness,
And harmony in your life.
When this energy center is blocked or imbalanced,
You may feel lonely,
Resentful,
Closed off,
Or afraid to be vulnerable.
You might struggle with self-love or find it hard to trust others.
Today,
We will gently awaken and balance this sacred center,
So you can reconnect with the You are loved,
And you are deeply loved.
Anahata is often seen as the gateway of integration where body,
Mind,
And spirit meet.
The word Anahata translates to unstruck or unheard sound,
Symbolizing the pure,
Untouched essence of love that exists within you,
Beyond past wounds,
Beyond fear,
Beyond stories you have carried.
It reminds us that at the core of your being,
There is a love that can never be damaged or taken away.
The element of the Heart Chakra is air,
Representing spaciousness,
Freedom,
Breath,
Lightness,
And the ability to give and receive air teaches us that love is not something we cling to or grasp.
It flows freely when we allow space within ourselves.
A healthy and balanced Heart Chakra supports the ability to love yourself and others,
Compassion,
Empathy,
And kindness,
Emotional balance and the ability to self-soothe,
Trust and healthy connection,
Openness to life,
The capacity to forgive,
A sense of harmony and acceptance.
When this chakra is underactive,
You may experience difficulty connecting with your emotions,
Fear of intimacy or vulnerability,
Feeling undeserving of love,
Emotional withdrawal or numbness,
Difficulty trusting others.
When it is overactive,
It may show up as people-pleasing or over-giving,
Losing yourself in relationships,
Attachment,
Jealousy,
Or codependency,
Difficulty setting boundaries.
Physically,
The Heart Chakra is associated with the heart,
Lungs,
Thymus gland,
Circulatory system,
And the energetic expansion of the chest.
Emotional pain is often felt here as tightness,
Heaviness,
Or pressure.
A sign that this chakra needs attention and loving care.
The color of Anahata is green,
Symbolizing healing,
Renewal,
Balance,
And growth.
Its bija mantra is YAM,
A sound that opens the chest,
Softens emotional tension,
And restores harmony.
Healing the Heart Chakra invites you to practice self-love with honesty and tenderness,
Release past hurts and open to forgiveness.
At your own pace,
Cultivate compassion for yourself and others.
Welcome vulnerability as a path to deeper connection.
Set boundaries that honor your truth.
Allow yourself to both give and receive.
Let's begin with a few moments of quiet reflection.
Ask yourself,
Gently and with kindness,
Where in my life do I feel the presence of love?
Where might I be guarding my heart out of fear or past hurt?
What would it feel like to love myself fully and without condition?
There is no need to judge or change anything.
Simply notice what arises,
Like watching soft waves on the shore.
Let's move into our meditation.
Find a comfortable position.
Close your eyes.
Allow your body to soften.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in and exhale slowly,
Releasing tension.
Bring your awareness to the center of your chest.
Imagine a beautiful emerald green light glowing at your heart center.
With every breath,
See this light growing warmer,
Softer and brighter.
With each inhale,
You breathe in love,
Pure,
Healing and nurturing.
With each exhale,
You release pain,
Resentment or anything that no longer serves your heart.
Feel this green light expand gently with your breath,
Filling your chest,
Your entire body and beyond,
Surrounding you in a cocoon of compassion.
Now,
Repeat silently or aloud.
I am love.
I give and receive love with ease.
I forgive myself and others.
My heart is open.
My heart is safe.
Let these words sink into your being.
If any emotions arise,
Joy,
Tenderness,
Sadness,
Welcome them with gentleness.
This is the heart opening and healing.
If your mind wanders,
Simply return to the warmth of the heart.
Feel the warmth of the green light and the steady rhythm of your breath.
Take a deep,
Nourishing breath in and exhale slowly.
Place one or both hands over your heart.
Feel the gentle beat of life within you,
Steady,
Strong,
Loving.
Open your eyes softly.
As you move through your day,
Carry this sense of love with you,
A quiet knowing that love is your nature.
Look for small ways to express it.
A kind word,
A gentle smile,
Patience with yourself.
Thank you for sharing this practice today.
In our next lesson,
We will learn how to heal.
We will rise to the throat chakra,
The center of truth and authentic expression.
