What you will need: - Herbs: chamomile, lemon balm, passionflower, lavender, rooibos, nettle leaves, ashwagandha powder, rose petals, holy basil (tulsi), valerian root, and hops. - Loose herbs are always preferred because of their potency, but if you do not have them handy, you can use tea bags for now. If possible, always use organic herbs because they are grown without harmful chemicals that can affect your health. They also have a richer taste and aroma, and more effective medicinal and nutritional qualities. If you do not have the herbal teas and want to do the course first to have an idea of the subject and benefits, that is perfectly fine. You can buy the herbs later, if you decide this is for you. - Cup and lid. - Strainer. - Tea ball or infuser (optional).

What makes Yaima uniquely qualified to lead this course is her ability to blend the contemplative discipline of mindfulness with a grounded, intuitive understanding of plant medicine. Her approach is practical, warm, and personal; offering students simple, meaningful ways to create rituals that soothe the nervous system and restore emotional balance. She is a Kriyaban (initiated in Kriya Yoga Meditation Technique) who has been practicing meditation for years, following the teachings of her Guru, Paramahansa Yogananda. She is also a voice-over professional and journalist, with a passion for reading stories to others. She loves technology, knowledge, and nature (especially plants and herbalism). Her motivation is to serve people (and God) through meditation, spirituality, and the use of her voice. Meditation Guide exists to share these kinds of thoughtful, accessible practices; tools that anyone can use to return to stillness, presence, and natural harmony.
