Hi dear soul,
This is a short meditation you can do anytime,
Anywhere,
A gentle moment just for you.
To let your mind know it's time to soften and come inward,
There are two simple cues.
First,
Keep your back straight allowing your energy to flow with ease and begin with four deep steady breaths,
Letting your exhales be just a little longer than your inhales.
If possible,
Find a quiet and cozy place to sit,
But if you're on the move or can't get away,
Simply pause,
Straighten your back and take your four deep breaths.
Now breathe into these words,
Letting them land softly in your heart.
You are okay.
You are okay with yourself.
You are okay with who you are.
You are okay with what is.
Wouldn't the world feel gentler if we could all rest in this truth?
That we are allowed to be at peace with ourselves,
Exactly as we are.
What if we could see the light and shadow within us and whisper,
That's me and it's okay to be me.
Perhaps the most powerful beginning of all is this,
Acceptance.
Let's breathe that in now and if it feels right,
Repeat quietly with me.
I am okay.
I am okay with myself.
I am okay with who I am.
I am okay with what is.
Take another deep calming round of breath.
Feel a soft wave of peace settle over you.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes slowly.
Slowly,
You can carry this calm into the rest of your day,
Gently,
Kindly,
Truly.
