Breathing into your own flow.
Welcome to mindful breathing with music.
Breathing into your own flow.
This exercise offers gentle guidance for exploring abdominal breathing as one way.
Of becoming more aware of your body.
A spoken narrative helps you to discover your own natural breathing rhythm and then gradually gives way to calming music that continues the experience through melody and rich,
Harmonious accompaniment.
Now take a comfortable position,
Sitting,
Lying down,
Standing,
Or even walking.
And allowing your spine to be upright,
But not stiff.
Letting yourself settle into a position that feels comfortable for you.
And as you begin,
Simply noticing your breathing.
There is no right way.
Or wrong way to breathe.
This is your exercise,
Your own rhythm and your own tempo.
If thoughts arise,
That's perfectly natural.
Simply let them drift by like white clouds moving across a breezy sky and gently bringing your attention back to your breath.
Now breathing in through your nose.
And breathing out through your mouth.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
And as you breathe in,
Allowing your abdomen to expand gently,
And as you breathe out,
Letting it return naturally.
Now continue in your own rhythm.
Breathing in.
.
.
And breathing out.
And now,
As you breathe out slowly,
Imagining your breath flowing into the upper right side of your body.
Through your torso,
Shoulder,
Arm,
Hand,
And fingertips.
With every breath in,
A gentle warmth spreads through this part of your body.
And with every breath out,
Simply allowing tension to soften and release.
And breathing in.
And breathing out.
Now returning your awareness to your abdomen.
Noticing its gentle movement as you continue breathing in your own rhythm.
And allowing your breath to flow.
Into the upper left side of the body.
Through your torso,
Shoulder,
Arm,
Hand,
And fingertips.
Again with each in-breath,
Sensing gentle warmth.
And with each out breath,
A growing sense of ease and relaxation.
And now.
.
.
Gently returning your attention to your abdomen.
If you notice tension or discomfort anywhere in your body,
Simply acknowledging it without trying to change it.
Allowing yourself to breathe into that area with kindness.
And acceptance.
And breathing in.
And breathing out.
Now imagining your breath flowing into the lower right side of your body through your hips.
Thigh,
Calf,
Foot,
And toes.
With every breath in,
Warmth.
And with every breath out.
.
.
Relaxation.
And breathing in.
And breathing out.
And now.
Allowing your breath to flow into the lower left side of your body through your hips.
Thigh,
Calf,
Foot and toes.
And once again.
Warmth with every in-breath.
And relaxation with every out breath.
And now bringing your awareness back to your abdomen.
Noticing the gentle movement of your breathing.
Allowing your own natural rhythm to guide you.
If thoughts appear that you don't want to have,
Simply let them pass by like clouds in the sky and gently returning to your breathing.
No hurry.
No effort.
Simply breathing.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Now allowing the calming music to take over as the music begins to flow.
Simply continuing breathing in your own rhythm and tempo.
Letting your breath flow while the music flows with you.
You you you you The End
