Hello,

Welcome.

My name is Maria and I will be guiding you through this floating on water meditation.

Begin by finding yourself in a comfortable seat or laying down.

Take a few moments here getting comfortable and grounding yourself wherever you are.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest as you let the air flow freely like the tides of the sea.

Let us begin by setting an intention.

Think of an intention you would like to set for this meditation.

You may choose to have it start with I am.

Take a few moments here connecting with this intention.

Repeat it three times in your mind or you may say it out loud.

Focus on sending this intention through your whole body.

Sense it traveling through you with each breath.

Now let us take three deep cleansing breaths here,

Inhaling through the nose and with each exhale imagine releasing the burdens that weigh you down.

Surrender them to the vastness of the ocean so it may cleanse and transform through its pure waters.

Now imagine yourself standing at the edge of a beautiful vast sea,

Its waters smooth and inviting under the warm glow of the sun.

Feel this warm golden glow spread throughout your body,

Illuminating you from the inside out.

Listen to the gentle swoosh of waves greeting your ears,

A rhythmic pulse of nature that calls you closer.

Now take a step forward,

Feeling the soft sand beneath your feet,

Cool and yielding as if it knows the weight you carry and wishes to lighten it.

The water glistens in the sunlight,

Gems of blues and greens,

Each wave a shimmering promise of peace.

As you step in these beautiful waters,

The caress of the sea is cool against your skin,

A tender embrace that welcomes you home.

The fresh sea breeze fills your nose,

Your lungs,

Your body,

Cleansing,

Invigorating your senses with the scent of endless horizons.

Now lay yourself into these waters,

Allow yourself to be gently carried.

Feel yourself being supported by the warm embrace of the current.

Float in this sea of love and surrender.

Surrender your mind,

Surrender your body,

And trust in the freedom of surrendering.

Feel yourself drifting on the currents of these cleansing waters,

A reminder of life's constant ebb and flow,

Of the cycles beyond our control.

For nature is our first teacher,

Our first mother,

And it is through her that we find our true essence.

With each lap of water against your body,

With each gentle breeze of the wind,

You hear a song that speaks without words.

What do you hear?

Is there a message coming through to you?

Is this message a feeling?

Do you sense it in your body?

Water and wind are nature's carriers of whispers,

Of words,

Of secrets.

They carry codes,

Gifts,

And realizations.

Listen with your senses,

Then listen through surrender by listening through your heart.

Now allow yourself to drift even deeper into the purifying element of water,

To become one with the water.

Imagine the sun's warmth on your face,

A gentle touch that seeps into your very being,

Igniting a fire from within,

Even as you are cradled by the cool embrace of the sea.

Feel your body float,

Lifted effortlessly,

As if the ocean has taken all that does not serve you and left only the purity of your essence within you.

In this sea of miracles,

Envision every worry,

Every trace of stress dissolving into the depths,

Leaving you cleansed and renewed.

Let go of everything that no longer serves your highest self.

Feel it wash away,

Leaving you with only everything you've ever wanted.

Breathe,

Float,

Surrender.

Begin to deepen your breath,

Slowly begin to bring yourself back to the present moment.

You may wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Feel the earth beneath you once more and carry the serenity of the ocean within you.

You may choose to stay here and continue,

Or you can open your eyes when you're ready,

Feeling refreshed and whole and ready to face the world anew.
