Greetings and blessings,
Beloved soul.
Thank you for being here and joining us in this heart healing meditation.
Please allow yourself to get comfortable and seated if you are not already.
We begin this practice by recognizing that the heart,
Like all living things,
Has the ability to heal.
Though the heart may carry pain,
Disappointment,
Grief,
Or moments of loss,
It also carries acquired wisdom that knows how to restore itself through love,
Patience,
And presence.
Healing the heart does not always require force or forgetting.
Often it begins by creating space for tenderness,
By meeting ourselves with compassion,
And by allowing what has been held within to soften.
Today we simply offer the heart a safe space to breathe,
To release,
And to renew.
If you haven't already,
You may gently close your eyes and bring your awareness to your heart space.
Breathe gently into your heart.
Exhale and allow yourself to be just as you are.
You are love.
Now gently bring your awareness and attention into your heart.
Breathing softly into the center of your chest.
Exhale and allow the heart to soften.
Again,
Breathing into the heart.
Exhale and allow the heart to gently open as much as you would allow.
Now check in with your heart.
Notice what is present here in this moment.
Perhaps your heart has been carrying grief,
Heartache,
Stress,
Disappointment,
Betrayal,
Loneliness,
Fear,
Or the weariness of giving so much.
Perhaps it has been protecting itself for some time.
There is no need to analyze it.
No need to judge it.
No need to relive anything in this moment.
Simply notice what the heart has been carrying,
And with compassion,
Allow its space to loosen and to soften.
Breathing gently into this space.
Exhale and let go of the things you are ready to release.
If forgiveness is available,
Allow forgiveness.
If softness is available,
Allow softness.
If tears are available,
Allow tears.
If only breath is available,
Then let breath be enough.
The heart heals in safe and gentle moments,
Such as this.
There is no need to rush the process.
No need to force healing.
Only a willingness to be present with yourself and love.
Take a soft,
Gentle breath into your heart.
Exhale,
And as you do so,
Imagine a warm light surrounding your heart.
This light is kind,
Patient,
Restorative.
Allow its light to wash through your heart,
Repairing what has felt fractured,
Soothing what has felt tender,
Bringing peace where there has been strain.
Take a moment to rest in this healing presence.
The heart softening.
The breath steady.
Awareness calm and present.
Remember,
Your heart has the wisdom to heal.
Your heart has the strength to love again.
Your heart has not lost its light,
Nor its love.
Rest here now in the presence of your own healing energy.
Allow it to move through you as you remain here in love.
