Aloha beautiful,
And welcome to today's mindfulness practice,
Where I will be guiding you through the embodiment of deepening into your pleasure.
Before we begin,
Take a moment to settle in,
Allowing the environment around you to soften,
And allowing your body as well as your mind to find stillness.
Whether you are on the floor,
Or the ground,
Or even a piece of furniture,
Feel into the support that's beneath you,
And let that feeling of safety anchor you into this practice.
As you come to your breath,
Bring awareness into the body,
Noticing the rise and the fall of the breath in your belly.
I'd like to start with a progressive relaxation,
So that we can really let go of all of the outside noise,
And sink in,
Settling our nervous system,
And really allowing ourselves to be deeply present within this practice.
So bring your awareness to the crown of your head,
And just notice the space behind your eyes.
Can you let go?
Can you soften across the forehead?
Draw that relaxation back behind the ears,
And allow this softness to gently wash down your face.
Unclench your jaw,
And allow the tongue to drop down from the roof of your mouth.
Carry the softness down your neck,
And back behind the shoulders.
Let go.
Take a nice deep breath here,
Drawing in through the nose,
And on the exhalation,
Really allow yourself to sink a little bit deeper.
Draw this relaxation down through your center,
Softening around the heart space,
Softening the back body,
And releasing your center.
Find ease in your hips,
And allow this letting go to draw further down the body.
With each breath out,
Feel the body sinking deeper into the support of the earth.
Allow this relaxation to draw down your thighs,
Soften at the knees,
And completely release down through your calves and out of the soles of your feet.
Trust that your breath will support your body,
Allowing yourself to become heavier with each exhalation.
Feeling more safe.
Feeling more surrendered.
Deepening our pleasure comes naturally when we awaken the senses.
So I'd like for you to notice the coolness or the warmth on your skin.
Perhaps the distance hum of life around you,
Or the fragrance of the air itself.
What colors do you see behind your closed eyes?
When we slow down to drop into our senses a little bit deeper than usual,
This makes the body more awake,
And it sets the stage for deeper experiences into pleasure.
Continue with a slow rhythmic breath,
One that feels easeful and natural.
I'd like for you to begin to visualize the gooey,
Warm sensation of honey.
Let this golden liquid pool into your heart center.
Feel its velvety warmth as it spreads through your whole body,
Slow and sweet.
Can you feel this honey reach every cell in your being?
As you inhale deeply,
Feel your pleasure expand,
Flowing down your arms,
Wrapping around your spine,
Your belly,
And dripping down your legs.
Until you are bathed in pleasure's embrace.
I encourage you to lean into your desires,
Your inner sensuality,
Without labeling or suppressing what feels good to you.
In this moment of relaxation,
What would bring you even more ease into the body as well as the heart?
Allow your body to reveal its truth,
Its yearning for joy,
Without judgment or shame.
You may silently repeat these mantras to yourself.
I am worthy of feeling good.
Pleasure is my natural state.
It is safe for me to receive.
Now,
Grant yourself permission to rest in this space of softness,
Of pleasure,
Following the natural rhythm of your breath.
You may settle here for as long as you'd like.
As we ever-so-gently start to shift out of the meditation,
Gather up all of your pleasure energy and place it into the heart space.
You may thank your body and set an intention to carry this sensation into the rest of your day.
Night Gently place one hand on your heart and whisper a thank you to yourself for choosing to receive,
For choosing to soften,
And to expand into the richness of life.
Take your time as you return to your surroundings.
And I thank you kindly for allowing me to guide you.
It's been my pleasure.
