Transcript

Do not be fooled by expectations,

For they are clever in their ways,

Picture-perfect and just right on the darkest of our days.

Sure,

They grant us courage,

More so distract us on this journey,

Dress up in the robes of destiny,

But often pull us from the now.

From the wild,

The raw,

The messy,

Where real life lives and breathes unseen,

Not polished but profound,

In the cracks,

The in-between,

And the beauty we've yet to allow.
