Welcome to Rooted Growth.
A place where you're invited to slow down,
Soften,
And reconnect.
My name is Lisa.
And I'm so glad you're here.
If you found this meditation today,
There's a good chance you're waiting for something.
A phone call,
A diagnosis,
A decision.
A conversation.
Or maybe you're simply waiting for life to make a little more sense.
Waiting can be one of life's most difficult teachers.
Not because we're doing anything wrong.
But because our minds don't like unfinished stories.
They want answers.
They want certainty.
They want to know what's going to happen next.
And in the absence of answers,
I don't know about you,
But my mind is more than happy to fill in the blanks.
And usually not with hope.
But with worry.
So today I'd like to offer a gentle reminder.
Just because you don't know what comes next doesn't mean something is wrong.
It simply means you're living.
In the same place all of us eventually find ourselves.
The space between not knowing and knowing.
And knowing.
So take a slow breath in.
And let it go.
Again,
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
And notice that while your mind may be waiting for tomorrow.
Your breath is happening today.
Life is happening today.
This moment has not been put on hold.
So perhaps that's the invitation not to stop caring.
Not to pretend uncertainty is easy.
But to stop asking today's breath to solve tomorrow's questions.
Sometimes the kindest thing we can do is loosen our grip on the answers we don't have yet.
And place our attention on the only place life has ever lived.
Right here and right now.
As we begin to meditate.
I'd like to offer this centering thought.
Peace isn't found when I have all the answers.
Pieces found,
And how I choose to wait.
And as you enter into meditation,
Use this mantra if it serves you.
This moment.
Is enough.
This moment.
Is enough.
Continue with your meditation,
I'll mind the time.
Softly ringing a soft bell.
As we bring our meditation to a close,
Take one more slow breath in.
And out.
And notice that.
Maybe nothing has changed outside of you.
The answers may still be on their way.
And yet perhaps something has softened within.
May you leave this practice remembering that peace doesn't always come from knowing.
Sometimes peace comes from trusting yourself while you wait.
Thank you so much for your practice today.
May you move gently through whatever comes next.
