Sit in or lay in a comfortable position.
Allow your body to settle and relax.
Bring your attention inwards as you draw in nice slow deep relaxing breaths.
And as you breathe in,
Breathe a feeling of calm and relaxation.
And as you breathe out,
Just release and let go of any tension or stress you are holding onto.
Breathing in calm.
Breathing out stress.
As you begin to settle into this space and with your attention turned inwards,
Spend a moment now knowing that it's safe for you to relax.
You are safe.
As you continue this pattern of deep relaxing breaths,
Start to bring your awareness down to your feet.
And as you bring your awareness down to your feet,
Start to become aware of how you can just focus on relaxing that specific area.
Using your breath to just bring down a feeling of relaxation into your feet and to remove any stress or tension as your feet become so wonderfully heavy and relaxed.
Now allow that feeling to start to come up into your calves,
Allowing your calves to just become heavy,
To let go,
To relax.
Feel as if your calf muscles are almost melting away from the bone as that feeling of relaxation begins to spread.
Spread in now up into your knees and into your thighs,
Allowing those large thigh muscles to just let go,
To relax,
To release.
Coming up from the thighs and into your hips as you just allow your hips to soften,
To loosen,
To unlock.
Losing up from the hips and into your lower back,
Loosening and relaxing your lower back completely.
Coming around into your lower stomach,
Just let go of anything you are holding onto in your stomach,
Using your breath to relax.
Coming back round now into your back as you slowly and methodically allow all of the muscles that support either side of your spine to loosen,
To release,
To let go.
And as they loosen and let go,
Feel that wave of relaxation taking you further and deeper into a peaceful state,
Following those muscles up through your spine,
Across your shoulder blades and into your shoulders.
Breathing out any tension in your shoulders,
Releasing anything you are carrying,
Just letting go.
Coming down into your arms,
Into your wrists and your hands,
Becoming so wonderfully heavy and relaxed.
Coming back up now,
Back into the shoulders,
Easing into your neck,
Releasing any tension in your neck,
Allowing your neck to become supple and flexible.
Going up into your jaw,
To release any tension and just relax.
Spreading across your face,
All those little muscles that support around your nose and your eyes,
Just letting them soften,
Release,
Relax.
Smoothing across your forehead now,
As your forehead just lets go and relaxes,
Leaving your forehead serene and relaxed as it spreads into your scalp.
And every breath just takes you further into this beautiful,
Peaceful relaxation.
And as we focus on this beautiful relaxation,
I want you to imagine that you can picture the most beautiful light shining directly above your head.
This light is so bright and dazzling,
But it doesn't hurt your eyes.
You feel that it's warm,
Loving,
Protective.
As you focus upon this light,
It seems to dip down,
Touching the crown of your head,
Almost as if it can start to pour in through your head.
As you feel it start to pour in through your head,
It enters into your mind.
You feel your mind become very still and relaxed as it clears out any negative thoughts,
Any blockages and leaves you feeling calm,
Peaceful and clear of mind.
Feeling that light now further down through your head as it stops at your throat,
Filling your throat,
Clearing out any unspoken words,
Any untruths,
Any lies or hurts and leaving your throat feeling clear,
Free,
Easily being able to speak your truth.
As that light continues to travel down,
Stop in at the centre of your chest and here it clears out any hurt,
Any grief,
Any sadness,
Clearing out any emotional pain in your heart and filling you with a sense of peace,
Contentment and unconditional love.
Let that light continue to travel into your body now,
Stop in now as it reaches your stomach and as it reaches your stomach it clears out any tension you carry here,
Any blockages to you feeling self-confident,
Any blockages to you feeling that you can trust in who you are,
Leaving you with a sense of clarity and certainty,
Knowing you belong and just allow that light to travel further down now,
Taking it down into your lower stomach,
To the base of your spine,
Clearing out any insecurities,
Leaving you feeling safe and protected.
You take that light all the way now into every cell within your body,
Taking it down to the tips of your toes and the tips of your fingers,
Allowing your whole body to be filled with this beautiful healing,
Protective,
Soothing light and as it fills every cell you feel any stress,
Tension or negativity being removed and feeling at peace,
You start to push that light even further until that light starts to pour out of your fingertips and your toes,
Pouring out of you and starting to wrap around your body,
Putting you in a bubble of pure protective light and as you sit or lay in this bubble you feel that your entire self is totally wrapped,
Protected,
Loved.
You know that inside this bubble only negative things can be repelled,
That only things that can come to you inside this bubble are positive things and the only things you can emit from this bubble are positive things.
You silently say to yourself,
Only good can come to me,
Only good can come from me.
This bubble of protection enables you to go through your life protecting your own energy,
Keeping you safe,
Keeping you emotionally strong and resilient and you know that you can keep this bubble around you throughout your entire day.
Within this bubble I am safe,
I am protected.
And with that knowledge knowing you can continue to keep yourself in this bubble,
Ever so slowly start to become more aware of your physical presence,
Taking a deep and deliberate breath,
Starting to become aware of the firmness of the ground beneath you as you slowly and gently start to wiggle your toes,
Feeling energy start to rise from your toes travelling up into your legs,
As that energy starts to rise into your torso,
Helping every cell become alert and aware,
You slowly and gently begin to wiggle your fingers,
Feeling energy rising in your arms and your hands as that travels up into your head,
Knowing that whenever you are ready you can stretch,
Smile,
Come back to the room safe and protected.
