Transcript

Sitting in a comfortable position,

Place your feet flat on the floor and have your spine as straight as possible.

Place your hands loosely in your lap and gently rest your eyes.

Allow your body to begin to soften and relax as you become aware of your breathing,

Allowing it to settle into nice,

Deep,

Comfortable breaths.

Today you will use this meditation to connect with your spirit guides on a vibration of love.

You are sat in peace,

Vibrating love.

Focus now upon your breathing,

Drawing a deep breath through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Notice how you can exhale for longer than you inhale.

Inhale,

Exhale.

As your breathing slows,

It calms your body.

And on the next breath in,

Imagine a bright,

White light shining directly above your head.

Notice how beautiful this light is.

It shimmers and shines and although it's bright,

It does not hurt your eyes.

As you focus upon the light,

It gets stronger and you feel that it's somehow so full of love,

You feel safe,

Calm.

And the light slowly dips down and covers your head,

Calming your mind,

Covering your torso,

Calming your emotions and covering your limbs,

Calming your energy.

Your body begins to fill with this beautiful light and you notice that it starts to pour out of your fingertips and toes.

And as it does,

It wraps your whole body in a bubble of protective white light.

This bubble only lets positive energy permeate it.

You feel so wonderfully calm and safe inside your bubble.

With every breath in,

You feel a wave of relaxation washing over you,

Taking you deeper and deeper.

So wonderfully calm and relaxed.

Now use your imagination to imagine yourself standing on a cliff top.

You're looking out over a beautiful sea.

The sun is beginning to slowly set,

But you can still feel the warmth of it soaking into your body.

You feel the warm sea breeze playfully blowing across your face as you breathe in the salty air.

You notice a wooden staircase and walk to the top of it.

The stairs are white washed and have been softened and smoothed by the sea air.

There are ten steps leading down to the beach,

Each one numbered with brightly coloured paint.

In a moment you'll begin to walk down the stairs,

But for now you take a moment to just enjoy taking in the scenery and breathing in the salty air.

You begin to very slowly and deliberately walk down the first step,

Feeling calm and relaxed.

Step nine,

You feel all the warmth travelling into the soles of your feet,

Spreading into your ankles.

Step eight,

You feel warmth spreading into your legs,

Feeling them relax and let go as you feel calmer and more relaxed.

Step seven,

That warmth travels into your hips and your lower stomach,

Gently letting go and relaxing.

Step six,

Getting closer to the beach as you feel the warmth travelling to your back,

Softening and releasing any tension.

Step five,

Feeling warmer as the wonderful feeling spreads across your chest.

Step four,

You feel that warmth spread down your arms,

Releasing and relaxing.

Step three,

Spreading into your hands and your fingers.

Step two,

The warmth spreads into your face and your scalp,

Your whole body feels wonderfully calm and relaxed.

Step one,

You step off onto the beach and slowly walk towards the sea in front of you.

The waves make gentle crashing noises which feel rhythmic and relaxing as you begin to reach the shoreline.

As you get towards the shoreline,

You notice a person stood there waiting for you.

You feel happy to see them there.

As you get closer,

There's a feeling of warm recognition between the both of you.

You may not recognise their face,

But you certainly recognise something about them.

As you reach the person at the shoreline,

They warmly greet you.

Take a moment now to be with the person.

Maybe they have a message for you,

Maybe a gift.

Your companion now steps aside and indicates to a large pile of pebbles on the floor.

The pebbles are of various shapes and sizes and as you look closely,

You see that each pebble has the outline of a word written on it.

Your companion tells you,

You're carrying around so many things which are weighing you down.

It's time to let them go,

One by one.

You pick one up and take a closer look.

As you look at the pebble,

Words appear on it which represent one of the things that you know you need to let go of.

You take a deep breath and hold the stone as you imagine all of those horrible feelings you feel towards that personal situation being drawn out of your body like a magnet and stored into the stone.

When you feel it is drawn all of the negativity surrounding that topic from inside you.

You tentatively pull back your arm and launch the stone into the sea.

You hear it make a satisfying plop and instantly you feel lighter.

Your companion motions for you to pick up another stone and again you see words appear on it which represent something else you've been carrying.

You feel it draw out all the negativity once more and more confidently this time.

You take your arm back and throw it hard into the sea.

You repeat this process over and over until you have thrown everything you need to let go of into the sea.

Once you have thrown all of your stones into the sea,

You can now let go of the stone and companion smiles and urges you to shout the following towards the sea.

I forgive you,

I release you.

As you say the words you feel lighter and you say them over and over in your head.

I forgive you,

I release you.

I forgive you,

I release you.

You then say I forgive myself,

I release myself.

I forgive myself,

I release myself.

You feel so much lighter than before.

Your companion indicates that it's time to leave and you say a very fond farewell.

You know that should you find yourself carrying any negativity again,

You can return back to this place and leave it all behind you.

You slowly walk away from the sea and head back towards the stairs once more.

Step one,

Heading back up to the staircase.

Step two,

Noticing your breathing as you climb the staircase.

Step three and four,

Feeling the firmness of the ground beneath your feet as you become more aware of your physical body.

Step five,

Feeling energy rising up into your legs as you clench your thigh muscles.

Step six,

Taking in deep breath as you notice your stomach rise and fall.

Step seven,

Energy travels down your arms.

Step eight,

Clenching your hands as you notice your physical surroundings.

Step nine,

Becoming more awake and more alert.

Step ten,

Feeling refreshed and relaxed as you feel fully wide awake.

Stretch,

Smile and open your eyes.
