Hello and welcome to our meditation for healing your heart.

Today we will be focusing on the heart with the intention of shining light on old shadows.

So let's begin by settling in to a comfortable posture and disconnecting from the outside world.

Please close your eyes or soften your gaze and just allow your breath to sink to the music.

Notice the rise and fall of your chest as you breathe in and out.

With each breath,

Invite both relaxation and rejuvenation to flow through the body.

Let go of all tension and stress.

Now see if you can envision a soft white light at the top of your head now and see it slowly make its way down through your body,

Softening any knots and releasing all tension.

Shifting your attention to your thoughts now,

You may find that your mind has become calmer as your body has become more relaxed.

Rest in this mind-body awareness as you experience the ease and flow of the present moment.

So,

Taking slow breaths in and long breaths out as your thoughts continue to still.

Now shifting your attention to your chest,

Breathing easily and focusing in on your heart.

We often take the heart for granted,

Going about each day without noticing all of the work it does for us.

So placing your hands on the chest now and try to feel each heartbeat and hear each heartbeat and simply connect to this miraculous living moving heart in your chest that brings life to every single part of your body.

What thoughts arise as you connect to your heart?

What memories?

What sensations?

Whether you perceive these thoughts as positive or negative,

Just allow whatever needs to be seen to surface.

Imagining now a bright green light glowing from inside of your heart.

See this light in your mind's eye.

What does it look like?

What does it feel like?

This is the energy of compassion.

Imagine a green glow flowing through all of the channels,

Vessels,

And cells of your heart,

Cleansing and healing,

Offering compassion to everything it touches.

Shining light on old hurts.

Resolving past grudges and clearing away anything that brings heaviness to the heart.

As the light does its healing work,

Bring to mind the beautiful sensations that this green hue inspires in your heart.

The deep renewal.

The freshness like new buds shooting up through the spring soil.

Breathe in the aroma.

Green also brings harmony into our lives.

Balancing,

Giving and receiving,

And inspiring our hearts to thrive and feel fulfilled.

With the next few deep breaths,

Hold this color deeper into your lungs and deeper into your heart.

Breathing in green.

Breathing in harmony,

Healing,

Balance,

And rejuvenation.

Grateful for its presence.

Feeling your beating heart and moving two inches inward.

Going deeper into your heart center now.

What or who do you hold there?

Imagine in this sacred space is the person or thing you love the most beyond measure.

This is your heart's treasure.

Feeling so grateful and thankful for this gift of love and compassion.

The gift of love you hold in your heart.

Now envision a golden light circling your heart and swirling through the green color.

Take a few moments to connect with the gold.

What does it look like?

What does it feel like?

Feel the color emanating from your heart,

Glowing from your chest,

And spreading throughout your entire body.

The gold inspires gratitude in the heart,

Carrying that gratitude.

Gratitude to every part of you,

Saturating the body,

Mind,

And spirit with strength.

Feel the gold working with the green to heal all the shadows of the heart,

Relieving it of any heaviness and infusing it with courage and strength.

Imagining the gold becoming richer and more vibrant with each inhale and going deeper into the heart with each exhale.

Inhale,

Breathing deeply into the chest and exhaling,

Feeling the gold flow through the heart and the lungs.

Another inhale,

Deepening the color,

And exhale,

Feeling it heal and strengthen your heart.

When your heart is healed and open,

It becomes easier to let gratitude in.

Using breathwork and visualization,

You have now reached a state of open-hearted awareness.

Connect with this awareness,

Taking note of how you feel right now in this moment.

Hold your hands to your chest once again,

Noticing your heartbeat.

How does your heart feel now?

Sit in stillness for the next few moments,

Continuing to allow gratitude to pour into your heart.

Now release the colors,

Letting the green and the gold fade into white,

And then see them disappear completely with your next exhale,

Bringing your awareness back to your surroundings.

And then slowly opening your eyes whenever you are ready and give your body a nice long stretch,

Feeling grateful for this opportunity to heal your heart.

Blessing you with pure love and light,

Blessing you with pure source energy in gratitude.
