The Universal Purr

Purring...even the word is relaxing. This short meditation was inspired by my black kitten's (very loud) purr, which you can hear in this track. It occurred to me that one of the billions of wonderful ways that the universe expresses herself is through the sound of cats purring. I hope you find Rosie's purr as soothing as I do.

Do you hear that? That's the universe purring through the body of a black kitten. You're invited to close your eyes now and relax. While you're here, There is nothing for you to do. Nothing to think about. Nothing to worry about or plan. You are just being, As carefree as a kitten in the sun, Purring, Listen. That's the sound of the universe purring. Just like waves, Or wind, Or birdsong. Let yourself be carried on the universal purr of a little black kitten.
