Close your eyes and take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs.
Now slowly exhale,
Releasing any tension.
Let your shoulders relax.
Let your body soften.
And allow yourself to settle into this moment.
You are safe here.
Let your mind focus on a memory or experience that is uncomfortable.
This can be a memory or experience that you often avoid revisiting.
It can be a difficult conversation or a situation that you want to release or heal.
This uncomfortable memory or experience can be felt in your body.
Gently ask yourself,
When I think of this memory or experience,
Where do I feel it in my body right now?
Is it in your heart?
Your throat.
Your stomach?
Once you feel where it's being held within your body,
Acknowledge it.
And if it feels comfortable.
You can put your hand there.
And let your body know that right now.
At this moment.
It is safe.
And now,
Imagine a glowing ball of beautiful golden light appearing around it.
Allow yourself to send love to this area.
And I'm going to continue to send Reiki as you relax and receive healing.
Continue to focus on this ball of golden light.
Don't create a story around it.
Just acknowledge it,
Remembering that you are safe.
Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.
When you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Know that the work you are doing is the beginning of your healing.
You should be proud of yourself for starting to become aware of your body by practicing interoception.
You are safe.
You are loved.
