Welcome.
And thank you for choosing this meditation on widening your heart space.
You might find a comfortable position.
Either seated or lying.
And if it feels right for you,
Gently close your eyes.
Or just soften your gaze.
Just notice your rhythm of breathing in and out.
No need to control the breath itself.
Just noticing.
Notice where you feel it most.
Either in your chest.
Or in your abdomen.
Noticing the rise.
.
.
In the fall.
With each inhale.
And each exhale.
Just thinking about what you need in this moment.
What have you been carrying yesterday or today?
Maybe you need comfort.
Or stillness.
Maybe you need more calm and peace.
Or reassurance,
Or simply just love.
Whatever arises.
Can you just be with it?
Whatever emotion you're feeling.
Just label it.
No need to over-identify or have other feelings about it with judgment.
Just let whatever's here be here.
The kindness.
And a caring towards yourself.
Recognize.
What it is you might need.
Feeling in your body.
As you ask yourself this question.
What's my body telling me in this moment?
You feel tightness or tension.
Simply focus on an area That baby needs a little letting go.
See with each inhale and each exhale.
And release some of that tension in that area of the body.
Notice any softening or allowing.
This release.
Of tension or energy stored in the body.
And thinking about the whole body.
See if you can relax into your chair.
And feel the body breathing.
And thinking to yourself.
Just like the clouds in the sky,
Come and go.
So do the joys and sorrows,
The ups and downs.
The emotions and feelings that hook us all.
And just see if you can let be.
Whatever's been.
And your life.
It all belongs.
We can see it with some agency,
Some choice.
You can think about how to be with it.
And have a self-compassion about why it's there.
Try to tell ourselves it's okay.
We can move into a new perspective.
Shifting.
A renewed sense of equilibrium and balance.
In these last few moments.
Just take a few slow,
Deep breaths in.
And how.
And with this widened heart space,
This softening.
Just know from moment to moment.
We can shift our perspective.
And open end.
To the beauty of our lives in front of us.
Without clinging.
Avoiding or over-identifying with what's here.
And coming back into the space that you're in.
Feel free to move your body gently.
And open your eyes when you're ready.
Namaste.
