Welcome.
This is a 5 minute guided grounding meditation.
Just find yourself in a nice seated or lying down position.
Allow yourself to get comfy.
Take a gentle breath of fresh new oxygen into your body.
On the release,
Allowing anything to go that you no longer want to hold on to.
Breathing in a gentle breath of fresh new air.
And as you release,
Allowing your muscles to relax a little more.
And releasing the breath and relaxing the body.
Breathing in new fresh oxygen.
And as you exhale,
Relaxing the jaw,
Relaxing the face.
Breathing deeper into the belly now and allowing that oxygen to stretch the muscles and the fascia all the way down towards the hips.
And breathing in your natural rhythm as you allow that oxygen to stretch deep,
Deep down into that belly.
Stretching that fascia,
Allowing that fascia to expand and release any tension,
Trapped emotions that are held within it.
And as you breathe down into that belly and you feel your hip space,
Noticing your root chakra,
Your tailbone.
This ruby red foundation,
The sense of home,
Home in your body.
The sense of security,
The sense of grounding.
And as you breathe in and feel yourself intentionally bringing awareness and energy in the form of oxygen down towards this root chakra.
You allow yourself to sit in the seat of the chakra.
You feel this energy running down your hips,
Your thighs,
Down your knees,
Shins and calves,
Your ankles,
And down and out your feet into Mother Earth.
Feeling your cords,
Your energy connecting down through her layers of soil.
Connecting down through her layers of clay.
Connecting down,
Down through the crystal caves of the earth.
And down to her very center,
Her very core.
Feeling your cords and your energy wrapping around her,
Mixing with her,
Allowing yourself to be held by her energy.
Feeling her ever-presence in the form of gravity always pulling you down towards her.
Allowing yourself to be here in her heart center,
Here in her core.
Allowing your energy,
Your cords,
Your body to be cradled here by Mother Earth.
And taking a gentle breath of fresh,
New oxygen into the body and releasing that breath.
As your cords stay grounded here and centered with her center,
You carry this energy with you now for the rest of the day.
Feeling any shifts in your body as you begin to gently blink open your eyes.
Just noticing the difference just five minutes ago.
Taking one last breath of fresh,
New oxygen into the body.
Releasing the breath,
Giving your body a little wiggle to come back fully here.
