Spinal wave practice,
A reset for your nervous system.
Take a seat on a chair in a relaxed position with your feet firmly on the ground and your legs slightly spread so you can bend forward between them.
And as you breathe out,
You lift your chin up and you roll forward,
Letting your head lead the motion,
Allowing your breath to guide the movement.
And as you inhale,
You're rolling back up in a wave,
Allowing your chin to tuck into your spine as it straightens.
And as you breathe out,
You're bending forward again with your chin up,
Allowing your breath and head to guide the movement.
And as you inhale,
You're rolling back up in a wave,
Allowing your chin to tuck in as your spine straightens.
And do this for seven more breaths.
You repeat this for a total of nine breaths,
Because nine is the magic number.
Allowing your breath and head to guide the movement as you're resetting your nervous system and allowing movement back into your spine and releasing any tension.
And when you have completed nine cycles,
Allow yourself to pause and feel the energy shifting and moving from this spinal wave.
