
Guided Meditation For Balancing Your Chakras
Take some time to clear and balance your energy centers. This guided meditation includes all seven chakras and has a particular extended focus for your Heart and Throat Chakras. Often, we hold tension in our heart and throat spaces. Give yourself the gift of this focus to bring about a sense of calm and balance.

Find a comfortable place for you to do your chakra meditation,
However you find yourself comfortable.
Be there now.
Begin breathing very slowly from your abdomen.
Place your hand there and feel the rise and fall.
On your next breath,
Allow it to fill your abdomen and then your chest.
And then release it.
In and out.
That's right.
Focus all your attention on your breathing.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your abdomen,
Your chest,
Your shoulders.
And then gently blow it out through your mouth.
Making any audible sounds you'd like.
A sigh,
A hiss,
A roar.
Your body knows exactly what it needs to do.
Do that again now.
In and out.
Now breathing slow and deep,
Falling into your own natural rhythm.
Breathing in relaxation and breathing out anything that no longer serves you.
That's right.
Do that now.
Do you do the things during the day to help you feel this way?
Do do them now.
Notice your breathing is slowing and you're beginning to induce a nice state of deep relaxation.
You are in complete control of your breath,
Of yourself.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Noticing you might be twice as relaxed as you were just a moment ago.
Allow all the cares of this world to just take care of themselves.
All by themselves.
You are drifting into more relaxed state now.
Breathing in relaxation and blowing out all that no longer serves you.
That's right.
This time is just for you.
You can simply float and drift away.
Breathing in and breathing out.
I wonder now if you can imagine a soft wind brushing over your forehead.
Relaxing each and every muscle,
Each and every nerve from your forehead.
As it wipes down,
Releasing any tension.
Your eyelids are heavy and they're becoming very heavy,
But they rest comfortably on your eyes.
It feels good to close your eyes.
And just rest quietly in your own awareness.
Allowing your jaw to relax and hang loosely.
Let go of anything that no longer serves you.
This breeze is bringing relaxation down your entire body and out your feet.
Flowing comfortably and peacefully now.
Moving through you.
And soon you get the feeling that you don't even have to be aware of it anymore.
As you let your body shift into automatic relaxation.
You may feel wonderfully relaxed in your shoulders and spreading down your arms through your fingertips.
Let it all go now.
That's right.
Relax all of your muscles and your nerves.
Just awareness and sensations now.
Each breath disappears and each thought dissolves into space.
Let each breath go.
Not holding on.
In and out.
Feel yourself expanding.
Expanding into light.
And merging with your essential true self now.
That's right.
Total relaxation.
Totally safe.
Totally secure.
And total love.
That's right.
We're going to take time to notice and balance our seven chakras today.
You will take time and special care with your heart and your throat chakras.
Giving love to where you need it and feel it the most.
Let's start at our root chakra,
Which is at the base of our spine.
Place your hands there now.
Or on the tops of your thighs.
Or the bottom of your belly.
You know what to do now.
Breathing in beautiful,
Red,
Strong light into that area.
You see it become an orb.
And turning and breathing in energy.
This chakra supports you.
Take a deep breath in and let it out.
Leaving the red orb there.
Place your hands on your solar plexus.
Grounding yourself there.
Your solar plexus is your third.
We'll take a moment to ground.
Now place your hands about two inches below your navel.
On your second chakra,
Your sacral chakra.
Place your hands gently on this area.
Directing a beautiful,
Beautiful orange light.
Circling.
Feeling grounded.
Now again,
Move your hand to your solar plexus.
Which is about two inches above your navel.
This is home of your self-confidence and your self-esteem.
Breathe in a gorgeous yellow light.
Circling in your solar plexus.
Empower it with the soft touch of your hand.
And slowly move the energy into this area.
Next,
We'll spend some time with our fourth chakra.
It is also known as your heart chakra.
Place your hands between your breasts on your chest.
Feeling the energy.
This chakra is special.
This chakra is bright,
Gorgeous green.
It's often the bridge from our lower to our top chakras.
This chakra will bring love in all forms.
Love directed towards others and love directed towards yourself.
Place your hand there.
Feeling the green light.
And allow these words to fill your heart.
Breathe them in.
You are open to accepting love from others.
And you are worthy of this love.
Your choices come from love.
Peace fills your heart.
You love easily and freely with yourself and others.
You love.
You are loved.
You are love.
Take a deep breath in to your green heart chakra.
Feeling the energy.
And blessing yourself.
Now slowly move your hands to the base of your throat.
Feel free to stack them on your throat and gently rest them there.
This is your fifth chakra,
Your throat chakra.
Here you are allowed to communicate whatever your heart is feeling.
This is your true voice.
Your ability to let the know.
Let the world know.
And let everyone know.
And let that knowing fill you.
You tell people how you feel.
Gently,
Safely and softly.
That's right,
It's here to help you now.
To help you express yourself in clear and honest ways.
Place your hand on your throat chakra.
Feeling the absolute gorgeous,
Gorgeous green.
As it turns into the blue of your throat.
Connecting your heart and your throat.
Your throat chakra is full of energy and power and courage.
Pure creative expression.
This beautiful green energetic vortex of sound,
Vibration and communication supports you and guides you.
Let these words fall through you.
You clearly and freely speak your truth every day.
You are comfortable expressing your feelings.
You are worthy.
You are worthy of being listened to.
You love and honor the expression of your voice.
Your true voice.
You speak to be heard.
Take a deep breath right into that throat chakra.
The green is glowing bright.
Next,
We'll move to your fifth chakra.
Your third eye chakra.
This is your chakra of intuition.
It's located right there between your eyebrows.
A little higher on your forehead.
Here is where you find true depths of your soul.
This chakra is a gorgeous blue.
A gorgeous deep indigo blue.
Deeper than your throat chakra.
Deeper blue.
In this chakra,
You have your imagination,
Your wisdom and your intuition.
It's a very delicate area.
Moving up to your last chakra.
The crown chakra.
On the top of your head sits the highest one.
The chakra of spirituality and your higher consciousness.
This is where you can connect with something,
Someone that is greater than life and greater than the essence of itself.
God,
The source,
Universe,
The higher power.
Place your hands on this chakra and feel the energy.
This is a royal purple.
A royal purple full of energy connected to source.
Now imagine this beautiful rainbow.
Red from your root.
Orange.
Yellow.
Green.
Blue.
Indigo.
And at our crown,
Purple.
Imagine this energy.
And as we work with our chakras,
We can unblock them.
When you breathe into them and imagine their light and honor them,
You can assist this in various ways.
Your loving energy can unblock them.
Your hands can open your chakras and let them guide the healing powers of your specific point and energy.
Bring your hands together.
Pressing your palms together in front of your chest.
Gently rubbing them to create some heat,
Some energy.
We are all energy.
Take your left hand and place it over your heart chakra on your chest.
Take your right hand and place it over your throat chakra.
Anywhere on your throat that's comfortable.
Take a deep breath in and allow the universe's energy and love to fill your left hand into your heart.
Pulling the energy up to your throat and out through your right hand.
This is how you will know you're in balance.
As you pull the energy from your heart,
The love from your heart,
And you speak your truth from your throat.
At any point during your day,
You can place your hand on any of your chakras to facilitate healing.
Put your hands together now in front of your heart chakra and thank yourself for this time.
This time you gave to balancing your chakras.
