This short meditation is a reminder of the beauty and magnificence of your body. When you are feeling like your body has let you down, or that it's not beautiful enough or strong enough... or just enough... this meditation and reflection is a quick reminder of just how incredible that beautiful body of yours is. Listen to this meditation when you're feeling at odds with yourself or simply when you want to remember the joy of being able to live and breathe and move around the world in that gorgeous vessel of yours!

Today,

You woke up inside that beautiful body of yours.

And maybe it didn't feel beautiful when you woke up.

Maybe it felt tired.

Maybe it felt stiff.

Maybe it felt sluggish,

But you still woke up in that beautiful body and that wonderful vessel of yours,

That incredible physical miracle of a machine is there to take you through your day,

Allow you to interact with the people that you love,

Allow you to breathe in the fresh air of the morning,

Allow you to see the morning light as it moves through your window.

So,

That beautiful body of yours is there to carry you from one experience to the next,

To walk you up the streets and through the fields,

To take you to the oceans and the lakes and allow you to swim in the waters,

To help you climb the mountains that you need to climb,

Figuratively or literally.

And finally,

That beautiful body is there to see you through it all,

To hold you when you cry,

To squeeze you when you laugh,

To be with you when your heart is broken,

To help you expand when your heart is open.

That beautiful body of yours is yours to have and to hold.

For this entire expanse of existence.

And if,

Of late,

It has not felt like a beautiful body,

Perhaps today is your opportunity to stop and to say thank you to this gorgeous vessel of magnificence,

This piece of absolute awe and wonder.

Perhaps now is the moment where you can stop,

Just for a beat,

To remember what it actually means to exist within the physicality of your being.

What it actually means to have this breath that moves autonomously through you.

What it actually means to be able to digest food,

To be able to think thoughts,

To be able to feel feelings.

And all of that is possible with this incredible vessel within which you reside.

So taking a moment,

Right here,

Right now,

To say thank you,

Beautiful body,

For all that you are,

For all that you have been,

All that you will be,

And simply for being mine.

Have a beautiful day inside your beautiful body.
