Welcome to this Limb Flow Meditation,
The River Inside.
Find a comfortable position,
Where your body can fully soften and feel supported.
You may choose to lie down,
Or sit comfortably with your spine relaxed and open.
Allow your hands to rest naturally.
And when you feel ready,
Then gently close your eyes,
If that's okay for you,
Or take a soft gaze over your nose at a point before you on the floor.
Begin by simply noticing your breath.
There's nothing you need to change.
Nothing you need to force.
Just observe the quiet rhythm of your inhale and exhale.
As you settle into stillness.
Allow your jaw to soften.
Relax your shoulders.
Soften the muscles around your eyes.
Feel the weight of your body being held by the earth beneath you.
Make your inhale just slightly deeper.
And slowly exhale through the mouth.
Again,
A slow nourishing inhale through the nose.
And a long complete release through the mouth.
With every breath,
Invite your nervous system to slow down.
Invite your body into a state of ease.
The lymphatic system responds beautifully to softness,
Movement,
Breath and relaxation.
There's no rushing here.
Only gentle flow.
Imagine now,
That your breath is like a soft current of water,
Moving through your body.
Each inhale creating space.
Each exhale carrying away heaviness.
Bring your awareness to the crown of your head.
Imagine a cool,
Clear stream of light gently pouring down from above.
Refreshing.
Cleansing Pure.
Allow this light to slowly move through your scalp and forehead.
Softening tension.
Washing away mental clutter.
Any racing thoughts begin to drift further away.
The light flows around your eyes.
Your cheeks.
Your job.
Relaxing the tiny muscles that work so hard throughout the day.
Feel this gentle current moving into your neck and throat.
One of the body's important pathways of circulation and flow.
Imagine this area opening like a calm river,
Allowing energy and fluid to move freely.
Take a slow breath in through the nose.
And exhale any feeling of restriction or tightness.
Now bring your awareness to your shoulders.
So many responsibilities are carried here.
So much effort.
So much holding.
As you breathe.
Imagine warm water flowing across your shoulders and down your arms.
Any heaviness begins to dissolve.
Your arms become lighter.
Your hands soften.
You may even imagine that every exhale is carrying away what your body no longer needs.
Old stress,
Emotional fatigue.
Lingering tension.
There is no need to force release.
Your body already knows how.
Now bring your awareness to the center of your chest,
The heart space,
The lungs.
The gentle movement of breaths within you.
Imagine your breath creating soft waves through the chest,
Stimulating openness,
Circulation and energetic flow.
Your heart-space becomes spacious,
Light.
Clear.
Take a moment here.
Breathing gently,
Receiving.
Now allow your awareness to travel into your upper back.
And around the ribcage.
Imagine stagnant energy melting away like ice,
Warming in sunlight.
Your body is unwinding.
Opening.
Flowing.
Bring awareness now to your abdomen.
This powerful center of digestion,
Intuition and emotional storage.
Without judgment,
Simply notice how this part of your body feels today.
Perhaps there's tightness.
Perhaps softness.
Perhaps emotion.
Breathe gently into the belly,
Allowing it to rise naturally,
And soften as you exhale.
Imagine a warm golden current flowing through your abdomen.
Supporting detoxification.
Supporting renewal.
Encouraging movement where there may have been stagnation.
Your body doesn't need to be perfect.
It only needs kindness.
With every breath,
Imagine your internal waters become clearer.
Freer.
More alive.
Now bring your awareness into your hips and pelvis.
This area often holds stored emotion,
Survival patterns and unconscious tension.
Imagine the breath creating spaciousness here.
Like a tide slowly washing through the body.
Gentle,
Steady,
Restoring movement.
Any heaviness you have been carrying can begin to loosen.
You don't need to hold everything alone.
Take a slightly deeper inhale.
And exhale with a sigh.
Now feel the flow of awareness moving down through your thighs.
Your knees.
Your calls.
Your ankles and into your feet.
Imagine roots extending from the soles of your feet into the earth.
The Earth receiving all that you are ready to release,
Without judgment,
Without resistance.
Any stagnant energy.
Any emotional heaviness.
Any stress your body has been carrying,
Allow to move downward now,
Released.
And as the earth receives what is leaving,
Imagine it also offering nourishment in return,
Steadiness,
Support.
Fatality.
Feel a gentle upward current of fresh energy rising through the body now.
From the earth into your feet,
Into your legs,
Into your hips.
Through your spine,
Into your heart,
Into your mind.
Your entire body becoming a living river of movement and renewal.
Simply breathing.
Simply receiving.
Now quietly ask yourself,
What am I ready to release?
You don't have to force an answer.
Simply notice what arises.
A feeling.
A word,
A memory,
A sensation.
And now ask yourself,
What would I like to invite instead?
Perhaps clarity.
Peace.
Energy.
Trust.
Confidence.
Ease.
Allow your intention to settle softly into the heart.
Not as pressure.
But as a quiet invitation.
Imagine this intention.
Moving through your entire lymphatic system,
Like light through water.
Carried into every cell,
Every pathway,
Every part of you.
Your body is listening,
Responding,
Aligning.
Take a moment to thank your body for all it does each day.
For the wisdom it carries.
For the healing it continuously supports beneath your awareness.
You are not separate from your body.
You are in a relationship with it.
And today.
You chose to listen.
Begin now to deepen your breath.
Invite a gentle movement back into the fingers and toes.
And perhaps rolling the shoulder softly.
Or gently moving the tailbone.
Notice how your body feels now.
Notice any spaciousness,
Any calm,
Any subtle shifts.
There's no need to rush away from this moment.
Take your time.
And when you feel ready.
.
.
Gently open your eyes.
Carry this sense of flow,
Clarity and renewal with you into the rest of your day.
You are allowed to move gently.
You are allowed to release.
You are allowed to flow.
Namaste.
