Begin by finding a comfortable position.
Allow your body to settle without needing to adjust to too much.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and a soft breath out.
Again,
Inhale slowly and exhale gently.
Now begin to notice where your body is making contact with the ground beneath you.
The weight of your body supported.
There is nothing you need to do.
Nowhere you need to go.
Just begin to feel.
Bring your attention to your feet,
Noticing any sensation.
Warmth,
Coolness,
Or stillness.
Slowly moving your awareness up through your legs,
Your hips,
Your stomach.
No need to change anything.
Just notice.
If you feel tension,
Simply acknowledge it.
Allow it to be there.
Bring awareness to your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your arms.
Let your shoulders drop slightly,
Softening without force.
Now notice your breath again.
Natural rhythm of your body,
Breathing on its own.
Exhale,
Inhale.
Each inhale,
Each exhale.
If your mind begins to wander,
Gently bring it back to the feeling of your own breath,
Of your body.
There is nothing to fix,
Nothing to figure out.
Just this moment,
Just this breath,
Just this body.
Allow yourself to rest here for a few moments.
And when you are ready,
Slowly bring awareness back.
Gently open your eyes.
