There is something tender about beginning again. This short grounding practice invites you to reconnect to your body, your breath, and your inner steadiness as you step into a new chapter. Through slow, intentional breathing and a quiet affirmation, you will be gently guided back to yourself. This is not about reinventing who you are, but about honoring where you have been and choosing how you want to move forward. Music composed by Narek Mirzaei (Music Of Wisdom).

Hello,

And welcome.

I'm so grateful you're here.

I'm Joanna Barrett,

Your guide for this short,

Grounding practice for new beginnings.

Please find a comfortable seated position,

Either on the floor or in a chair.

Feel your feet gently soften beneath you.

Let your spine rise up naturally,

Not rigid,

Just awake.

Feel the steadiness of the ground,

The simple,

Quiet support of the Earth's energy.

You do not have to hold yourself up all alone.

Place one hand over your heart space at the center of your chest.

Then rest the second palm on top of that.

Take a slow breath in through your nose,

Soften your belly,

Feel your ribcage widen,

Your back body expand.

Exhale slowly through your mouth,

Allowing your shoulders to soften and your jaw to unclench.

Inhale,

Slow and steady,

As if you're breathing all the way down into your feet.

And exhale when it comes,

Releasing what you no longer need to carry into this next chapter,

This new beginning.

With your hands resting on your heart center,

Take another slow breath in.

Pause gently at the top.

Your heart knows the way.

And as you exhale,

Whisper softly to yourself,

I can begin again.

Let the words land,

Not as pressure,

Not as performance.

But as inner permission,

I can begin again.

Beginning again means honoring who you have been and choosing who you are becoming.

As you deepen your breath,

Feel your lower body grounded,

Steady,

Supported.

Feel your heart beneath your palms,

Still beating,

Still here.

I invite you to take a few more intentional breaths,

Softening any tension,

Perhaps in your abdomen,

Shoulders,

And face.

Inhale possibility,

Filling up and expanding.

Exhale fear,

Releasing and letting go.

When you are ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Coming back to the space you're in.

You are allowed to begin again.

Moment by moment.

Breath by breath.

Thank you for your practice.
