In this meditation we will let the Moon illuminate what no longer serves us. We will then use our own creative powers to create and set a new intention. This meditation will help you to ground, cleanse and reset under the light of a full Moon. Rain drops and storm ambiance in the background to help you relax.

Transcript

This meditation or any other meditation while you are driving or operating a machine of any kind.

Now let's get started.

Whenever you are ready,

Please find a comfortable position.

This could be lying down or sitting.

As long as you are comfortable,

That is all that matters.

Now close your eyes and focus on your breath.

The breath will always bring us back to the present moment and it reminds us to be here now.

Remember this if your mind begins to wander.

Just follow your breath back to this meditation.

Now take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of 1 2 3 4 and let your breath out through your mouth for a count of 1 2 3 4.

Good job.

Now again a deep breath in through your nose for 1 2 3 4 and release through your mouth for a count of 1 2 3 4.

You are doing so great.

Now let's focus on breathing in a rhythm that feels natural for you.

As you begin to relax,

I want you to imagine in your mind the moon at its fullest phase.

As you look up at the moon,

You notice how radiant she is.

The moon is giving off a warm silver glow.

The glow begins to drift down to you and as it does,

You feel peace and love.

Light almost dances over the top of your head as it gently flows down your face and your neck.

As this light travels down your body,

You feel warm and held as if you are being embraced by someone that you love and trust.

This light moves down your chest,

Your arms and encircles your very fingertips.

It flows down your belly,

Your legs and out through the tops of your toes.

You radiate with love,

Light and truth.

Imagine that this light has made clear for you things that serve you no longer.

As this truth flows through you,

I want you to sit with whatever comes up.

This could be feelings of overwhelm,

Sadness,

Heaviness,

Thoughts about how you are not enough.

Anything that weighs you down,

That tries to keep you in the past,

Begins to come to the light of the full moon.

In this light,

It begins to rise towards the moon.

These things,

These memories,

These emotions and even these bonds to people,

Ideas,

Concepts,

Anything that no longer benefits you,

Begins to rise from you and in the light of the moon begins to disintegrate.

It becomes sparkles,

Almost like silver glitter as it floats across the sky until you see them no longer.

As they leave you,

You feel lighter and more centered.

You know that the moon has illuminated anything in the shadows that needed to be brought forth.

And now you are free to create new intentions,

New dreams,

New ways of how you want to show up in this world.

As you think about this idea of showing up,

I want you to create an intention around this and bring it into this present moment as if it is already happening.

Your words have power,

Your intentions have power,

And you are a creator.

You can create any future that you wish and whatever your wish is,

Say it now.

And as you do this,

I want you to remember your power.

Remember who you are.

Remember your light,

The one that pushes back any darkness and shines brightly to guide you in this life.

And just as the moon shines so brightly on you now,

You too shine so brightly like the stars in the very sky.

You are radiant,

You are glorious,

You are breathtaking.

I want you to now send gratitude and thanks to yourself for doing this hard work.

And to the moon for reminding us that there is always light even in the darkest night.

Now come back to your body,

To your awareness,

To this present moment.

Feel your body being held by the chair or the bed or the ground.

Anything that holds you.

Feel your hands in your lap or at your sides.

Hear the sounds in the room or outside of your window.

And whenever you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Remember this power to come back to center is always within you.

And take this light and let it shine as you go about your day.
