Welcome to this guided meditation.

Here we will learn how to let go of what no longer serves us.

Many of us are caretakers,

Empathetic human beings who take on far too much.

I'm betting that this is exactly why you find yourself here today.

You know that you need to let go of the many emotions or thoughts or things that are bringing you down.

You've come to just the right place.

Trust in me as I lead you on this journey of letting go.

Just follow my voice.

If any thoughts come up for you during this meditation,

Know that that is okay.

I just want you to imagine that your thoughts are like leaves in a stream and you watch them pass you by and then bring yourself back to my voice.

Now let's begin.

I want you to find a comfortable place.

Wherever you might find yourself,

It could be on the floor,

It could be on the bed.

Just as long as you aren't driving,

Remember to not listen to this guided meditation while you are driving.

Wherever you are,

I want you to lie down or sit up,

Whatever feels good in your body.

Now close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your mouth and let it go.

Now another breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

I want you to imagine that each breath that you take in is filling you up with peace and love and as you breathe out,

You're breathing out any heaviness or uneasiness.

Just imagine that you are being filled with warmth that starts at the bottom of your feet or your body and it moves up to your legs,

Your belly,

Your chest and now it moves into your hands and into your arms.

You feel a warmth in your shoulders and if you feel any tension,

I want you to just imagine breathing that out.

You are doing so well and that warm feeling is rising up your neck,

Into your face and now all the way to the top of your head and you feel warmth and you feel centered and you feel loved because after all,

That is the very truth.

You are loved,

You are good as you are,

You are worthy and I want to remind you,

You don't have to be anything else or do anything else or be anyone else to be worthy of love.

You are just loved and that is a truth that belongs to you.

And now I want you to breathe as long.

Good job.

And just to continue to follow the sound of my voice as I take you on a journey where we will go to the ocean.

Now I want you to imagine that you find yourself in a field of tall beech grasses.

You are surrounded by these beautiful,

Vibrant,

Green grasses as they wave in the gentle breeze.

And as you look down at your feet,

You see that you are standing in beautiful,

Vibrant sand that almost appears to glow with life.

It is warm and soft on your feet.

You feel connected here.

You feel safe here.

Now I want you to look in front of you and you see footprints,

Many footprints of those that have come before you on this very same journey of letting go.

So you begin to follow these footprints on this trail that opens up before you.

You are doing so good.

And this trail leads you to a hill made of sand.

As you stand at the top of this hill,

You look below you and see the ocean.

It is beautiful and vibrant and alive with the life that is in it and above it.

And you feel so connected because deep down inside of you,

You know that we are all connected to the ocean.

We as human beings are connected to the waters themselves and you are being called and welcomed here.

So you find yourself walking down this hill and following those footprints into the sand.

The sand then becomes wet.

I want you to walk up to the point of the water where you feel most comfortable,

Where you feel most safe.

You know that these waters are both welcoming and healing.

And you can stand on the shore as the water gently laps against your feet.

You can go into the water until it comes up to your shins or even up to your neck as you lay on the surface of the water being cradled with love.

No matter where you are,

You know the water is magical.

You can feel it and you are a part of that,

A part of this magical,

Grander design.

Everything about you is good and worthy and special and you are not alone.

Now I want you to imagine wherever you are,

Whether that be on the shore or in the ocean itself,

That you begin to let go of what no longer serves you.

And this can be bubbles that rise to the surface and pop.

It could be something that leaves you and goes into the water.

It could be the form of butterflies that as they leave you,

They transform and fly away into the sky,

Renewed,

And bring positivity in the world.

Whatever you imagine,

These things that no longer serve you are leaving you.

And you feel more at ease and lighter.

All the things that made you feel not good enough or as if you were not enough.

All the times that you felt you were too much,

Which is never the case.

You are good as you are.

I want you to remember you did the best with what you had.

If any mistakes come to mind that you are letting go of,

Remember that you are human.

You are free to let it all go here,

The shame and the blame.

And to make mistakes is a very human thing to do.

And if at any time you are letting go of people that have hurt you and there is a blame attached to you,

I want you to know it is not your fault.

That doesn't belong to you.

And let that go too.

And as you let that go,

Any of those things that don't belong to you and weigh you down,

You remember your power,

You remember your worth,

Your uniqueness.

There will never be another person like you.

You are once in a lifetime.

And whenever you're ready,

I want you to walk back to our trail,

To the top of the hill,

And say goodbye to the ocean,

Who is always here to help you,

To remember your power,

And to let go.

And send the ocean gratitude and love.

Great job.

And walk back up the trail,

Through the grasses,

To the very spot that we came in together at.

And I want you to remind yourself to love you,

To forgive you,

To put you first.

Good job.

Now I want you to become more aware of the room you find yourself in,

Even if that's outdoors.

You're safely seated in your car as it's parked off to the side.

Hear the noises around you,

The birds or the traffic.

Move your body.

Feel your body.

And open your eyes.

Welcome back.

You did so good.

And you engaged in self-love.

Good for you.

I'm proud of you.

Remember to continue this journey.

Goodbye.
