Transcript

Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying down.

Rest your hands naturally,

Softening your shoulders,

Gently closing your eyes to start the voyage inward.

Now take a slow,

Deep breath in and exhale with a soft sigh,

Again inhaling fully and exhaling slowly,

Releasing tension.

Now allowing your attention to arrive here in this moment,

Notice the support beneath your body,

The rhythm of your breath,

The air on your skin.

With each exhale,

Letting go of the outside world,

Its demands,

Its noise,

Its pulp,

Its people.

With each inhale,

Drawing your awareness back to yourself,

Back to center,

Back home.

Now,

Start to imagine a quiet,

Steady flame at the center of your being.

This flame holds the essence of who you are,

Your values,

Your strengths,

And your unique needs.

Noticing this steady flame at the center of your being without trying to change anything.

Simply noticing.

Is it warm,

Gentle,

Bright,

Flickering,

Or steady?

As you continue to pay attention to this flame at the center of your being,

Allow a word,

An image,

Or a feeling to arise naturally.

Now start to imagine you're walking toward a warm,

Welcoming home,

A home that is entirely yours.

Every detail,

The path,

The lovely front door,

The colors,

Feels like you.

As you step inside this home,

Notice how this space embraces you.

The air is just the right temperature.

The lighting soothes your eyes,

And you feel safe,

Comfortable,

And whole.

Take a slow walk through the rooms of your home.

As you do so,

You start to notice reminders of your values,

Your strengths,

And your needs.

These reminders might appear as objects,

Or just as colors,

Textures,

Or scents.

Allow yourself to feel the support and nourishment that they offer.

From a window of this home,

You might look out and notice the streets of other people.

The streets represent their thoughts,

Their challenges,

And their responsibilities.

From your home,

You're able to observe them with compassion,

Knowing that they're on their path,

Just as you are on yours.

Gently turning your attention back to your own space,

Your own side of the street,

Your own inner home.

You know this is where your energy belongs.

Here,

You can tend,

Nourish,

And grow what matters most to you.

Allow the feeling of your inner home to expand throughout your body,

Expanding through your torso,

Through your arms,

This feeling of your inner home throughout your legs and feet,

Up into your head,

Back down into your heart.

The feeling of your inner home filling every cell of your body with steadiness,

Clarity,

And strength.

From this place of inner home,

You make choices aligned with your highest self.

From this place of inner home,

You meet the world with integrity,

Openness,

And love.

Taking a moment to gather any messages of wisdom that might be here for you in this moment within your inner home.

Gathering any wisdom,

Knowing you'll remember exactly what you need to remember.

Taking a deep breath in,

And exhaling slowly.

Starting again to feel the weight of your body,

The support beneath you,

And the air around you as you come back into your space.

Bringing all the parts and pieces of your self into this space.

Bringing yourself back with you.

When you are ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying this sense of inner home with you into whatever comes next in your day.

Enjoy the journey,
