Welcome to this 10-minute prayer meditation to help you just learn to let go and trust God.
Before we begin this practice,
Please make sure you have consulted your doctor and are fully able to participate in this meditation exercise.
As we prepare to allow ourselves to journey along this path,
Please make sure you are not driving and are in a quiet space where you can relax your mind.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position and allowing your eyes to close.
Take notice of your breath and breathe in slowly,
Taking three deep cleansing breaths.
Inhale through the nose,
Hold,
And exhale through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose,
Hold,
And exhale through the mouth.
One more time,
Inhale through the nose,
Hold,
And exhale through the mouth.
As you breathe out,
Allow the thoughts of today to leave with your breath.
Today we're going to talk about some Christian affirmations that you can begin to say out loud or in your heart and will begin to help build your faith.
I have been uniquely designed for a purpose.
God listens to me.
I trust God.
God had me in mind before I was born.
But you are God's chosen treasure,
Priests who are kings,
A spiritual nation set apart as God's devoted ones.
He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light,
And now he claims you as his very own.
He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.
I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful,
And I know this very well.
A good woman is hard to find and worth far more than diamonds.
You alone created my inner being.
You knitted me together inside my mother's womb.
If God is for us,
Who can be against us?
We are more than conquerors through him who loves us.
Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid or terrified because of them,
For the Lord your God goes with you.
He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Therefore,
If anyone is in Christ,
He is a new creature.
The old things passed away.
Behold,
New things have come.
I tell you,
You can pray for anything,
And if you believe that you've received it,
It will be yours.
I eagerly expect and hope that I will have nothing to be ashamed of.
I will speak very boldly and honor Christ in my body,
Now as always,
Whether I live or die.
O God,
You have taught me ever since I was young,
And I still talk about the miracles you have done.
Seek the kingdom of God above all else and live righteously,
And he will give you everything you need.
He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
Do not depend on your own understanding.
But the spiritual nature produces love,
Joy,
Peace,
Patience,
Kindness,
Goodness,
Faithfulness,
Gentleness,
And self-control.
There are no laws against things like that.
I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to me.
I am convinced that God,
Who began this good work in you,
Will carry it through to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.
God is intentional with my life.
All things are working for my good.
God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God,
To those who are called according to his purpose.
God is not punishing me.
He is fighting on my behalf.
For the Lord your God is going with you.
He will fight for you against your enemies,
And he will give you victory.
I have a future filled with hope.
For I know the plans I have for you,
Declares the Lord.
Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.
Plans to give you hope and a future.
I have everything I need to flourish.
By his divine power,
God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.
We have received all of this by coming to know him,
The one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
Fear does not hold me captive.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity,
But of power,
Love,
And self-discipline.
And now,
As this practice comes to an end,
Take one last deep breath in,
Changing your focus from inward to outward.
And on your release,
Open your eyes.
Gently move your upper body,
Shoulders,
Arms,
Head,
And neck.
Rubbing your hands together to create a tingling sensation,
And open your eyes.
You've done a wonderful job today.
