You do not need to decide everything from inside this moment.
Let the body settle where it is.
Feel the weight beneath you.
Notice one place where you are already supported.
There may be many choices waiting,
Large ones,
Small ones,
Choices you have delayed,
Choices that arrived before you were ready.
For now,
Do not organize them.
Let them remain at a distance,
Like objects resting on a table.
Bring attention to one complete exhale.
Feel the body give back a little air.
Then let the inhale come without using it to prepare for everything.
Notice the forehead,
The space around the eyes,
The jaw.
If these places are working on the decisions,
Let them pause from that work.
You are allowed to hold a question without squeezing it for an answer.
Now let one choice come gently into view,
Not necessarily the biggest,
Only the one that appears first.
Ask,
Does this require something from me now?
Perhaps the answer is yes,
Perhaps later.
Perhaps this choice does not fully belong to you.
Imagine three simple places.
Later.
Not mine to decide.
Place the first choice where it belongs for this moment.
Let another choice appear.
Ask the same question.
Does this require something from me now?
Place it without explaining the whole situation.
And one more if it comes.
Notice whether the mind tries to pull everything into now.
Urgency can make choices feel equal.
But unfinished is not the same as immediate.
Let later be a real place.
Let not mine to decide be a real boundary.
Return to what remains in now.
If there is more than one choice,
Ask which one has the clearest consequence for this day.
Not which one creates the most noise,
Which one changes what becomes possible next.
Choose one.
Now ask what information is enough for the next step,
Not for perfect certainty,
For one step.
Perhaps you already have enough to begin.
Perhaps the next step is to ask one question,
To wait for information,
To set a boundary.
To choose the reversible option and learn.
Let the next action be kind enough that you can actually take it,
Small enough to be clear,
Real enough to move the choice out of thought and into the world.
Silently complete this sentence.
For now,
I choose to stool.
Feel how the body responds to the sentence.
It does not have to feel certain.
It only needs to feel honest enough for now.
The other choices can remain where you placed them.
Later,
Not mine,
Not yet clear.
You can return when the time,
Information or responsibility is actually yours.
Feel the support beneath you again.
Let the hands rest from holding every possibility.
Let the eyes rest from searching for the perfect moment.
One choice,
One next step,
The rest allowed to remain unfinished.
