Hello my name is Annabelle and today we're going to be looking at the solar plexus chakra or the Manipura.
So the solar plexus chakra is linked to our personal power.
It is the center of transformation and where a lot of our life force energy is.
The sacral chakra is located just under your ribs in the center of your body where your ribs end and your stomach begins just where it starts to get squishy is where the solar plexus lives.
It is linked to the color yellow and it's also linked to your willpower and self-esteem.
You'll learn how to balance it in the mudra and chanting meditation.
The solar plexus is responsible for quite a few body parts.
Obviously as it is located on top of the stomach,
It includes the stomach as well as all of the surrounding organs there.
So looking at the gallbladder,
The pancreas,
The spleen and the liver.
All of these organs hold a lot of emotion,
A lot of energy and it is one of the most powerful centers in my opinion.
It's also one that we have most trouble with in society.
If we have a deficient solar plexus it can lead to a lot of anxiety.
It can also lead to food intolerances and gut issues and this is becoming more and more common with today's population.
The solar plexus also rules our self-confidence,
Our willpower and our ability to take action.
All of those times where you wanted to take action on something but you just weren't able to for some reason is usually linked to a solar plexus issue.
This chakra is also linked to our feeling of empowerment and feeling of purpose and it is so common for people not to have a sense of purpose because this specific chakra is out of balance.
So when we're looking at a deficient solar plexus,
We're looking at all of those being not where they should.
This can lead to low self-worth,
Low motivation,
Indecisiveness and to me all of those things are very linked to depression as well as anxiety.
So if you are struggling with either of those,
Working on this chakra is going to bring you out of that and it's going to give you more self-worth,
More motivation,
More purpose,
More empowerment.
This is also the chakra that is linked to the element of fire.
So when people say they have a fire in their belly,
It's because this chakra is activated.
Whereas when people feel cold inside,
They have digestion issues,
They're finding it difficult to find motivation or purpose for anything in their life,
It's because this chakra is deficient.
However like everything,
We still need this chakra to be balanced and if it isn't,
There is likely an inflated sense of self-worth,
A need for constant validation.
Feelings of dominance and aggression can occur because we may feel like we're more worthy than others or more deserving of things that in truth we may not be.
So looking at the belief system around the solar plexus,
Looking at what we want,
Looking at what we want,
Asking ourselves whether we're worthy of it,
Why or why not,
Looking at our self-esteem and self-worth,
Asking truthful questions of do I deserve to be this confident around it,
Is this an inflated sense of self or is this backed by my actions,
Do I have proof that I am the person I say I am or am I just being prideful,
Looking at past decisions and asking was that feeling paralyzing or did I make the decision without maybe all the information I needed,
Did I put off making the decision or did I make it too quickly and also asking did I have a constant need for validation or can I validate myself,
Do I need external approval and if I do how is that impacting my life and my choices.
So find balance with this chakra in the mudra and affirmation meditation.
