Relax your eyes.
Let them be heavy and let them relax.
Moving on to your shoulders.
Let them drop.
Treat them as if a weight is being lifted away.
As well as your arms and your hands.
Soft,
Loose,
And completely at ease.
Now,
Feel your chest rise and fall.
Slow,
Steady,
And calm.
Focusing on your belly.
Allow it to soften.
Allow your hips to sink deeper into comfort.
Let your legs grow heavier.
And let your feet be warm and relaxed.
Your whole body now is supported and safe.
Imagine you're floating or sinking into a soft,
Peaceful place.
As your body relaxes,
Your mind can begin to quiet.
Thoughts may come,
And that's okay.
Simply let them drift into the abyss.
Like clouds moving slowly across a quiet night sky.
No need to follow them.
Just gently return to the sound of my voice.

Imagine a soft darkness around you.

Comforting,
And still.
