Hi,
My name is Regina.
Welcome here.
Today I would like to share my experience,
Why I have started meditation and why is it important.
So,
My story started a couple of years ago when my life was a mess,
Really.
I started meditation challenge,
21 days.
And.
.
.
And it really worked and changed my life.
Because sitting down every day for 5,
10,
15 minutes and dedicate this beautiful time for myself I never had this luxury to do it.
Or the courage to do it.
And just to do nothing,
You know.
Soon.
As I was doing this challenge.
In the morning.
During the day.
I was thinking.
.
.
That my life situation is such a mess,
How I'm going to get out of it?
What shall I do?
How should I make this change?
It's actually the universe.
Listen to me.
And it brought the change into my life.
Well,
Not in the way I would have imagined,
Ever.
Because if somebody knows the tarot cards.
The tower came in.
With a lot of math.
And it did make a lot of changes.
So I can get out from.
.
.
That current life situation.
And step in.
To the journey.
What took me here today.
And it was a beautiful journey.
It was difficult.
And scary as well,
I have to tell you.
But it did help me.
It did help me a lot.
And in the years,
Meditation started to become the parts of my life.
So at that time,
I did that 21 days.
Of challenge and then after I left it and then I came back and then I left it and then I came back.
And then all of a sudden.
.
.
I find myself in a morning routine.
That has included meditation.
Firstly,
I was listening to guided meditations.
From different people.
And then.
.
.
I was just sitting in silence.
10-20-30 minutes.
And they did help me.
During the years.
To transform my life.
And find myself in that silence.
And I'm really grateful for the opportunity that I have started meditation.
Because if not,
I don't think so I would be here today.
Because meditation did help me.
To cultivate this connection with myself.
To cultivate love.
And trust.
Within myself.
And that was the first step.
The connection.
The thrust.
Because meditation might seem like nothing,
Like,
Oh,
You're not doing anything,
You know?
But that's the point.
Really?
That you don't do anything?
Disconnect.
With who you are,
With your true essence.
So from that,
I can tell you.
All this.
We can break them.
What meditation is not.
So definitely.
To start meditation you don't have to sit in a perfect position.
Cross legs with the thumb and index finger pointing and touching each other and you don't have to do a certain time and you definitely don't have to have no thoughts.
So these are all questions that came up also for me in the beginning.
Like,
Oh my god,
I cannot sit in this position,
Or I have so many thoughts.
And those are so normal.
And they are so perfect because those thoughts they are going to be there.
But what you need to understand.
.
.
That when you start to observe yourself,
You will find.
The silence.
In between those words.
And then sentencing.
And then toe.
And then you are not going to engage with it after a while.
But that takes practice.
And if you are just starting out.
This is not something that you need to focus on.
You just need to focus on to sit down comfortably or you can just lie down as well.
Close your eyes.
And just connect.
Ask yourself how you feel.
Today.
What do you need?
For real.
But make the connection.
With yourself.
It can be short as one minute.
One minute is perfect.
You may.
The movement.
The starting point that you sit down and you dedicate that one minute for yourself.
Then you can build it up.
3 minutes,
5 minutes,
10 minutes.
And there are beautiful guided meditations out there if you don't want to do it alone.
I have some that you can check it out,
But there are also others.
They have beautiful meditations.
So just see what is resonating with you.
Male,
Female.
Or different types.
It all depends on you.
So take this courage and dedicate this time for yourself.
Because what meditation really does.
.
.
Give you a chance.
For transformation.
For a better life.
A connection.
The true connection with yourself.
And therefore others.
And that's the beauty of it,
Really.
It's just such a sly.
Of practice.
But if you think about it,
It's all adds up,
All those minutes.
And then one near.
That's a lot of time dedicated for your sound.
And cultivation of connection and love.
So meditation is something that you cultivate.
As the days are passing.
And when you look back in time,
You will notice.
How meditation changed your life.
Because it will,
For the better.
For your highest good.
Because you deserve it,
Because you dedicate this time for yourself.
So just live in the present moment.
And be aware,
Observe.
And don't think about.
The future or the past.
Think about this present moment.
How you can be there for yourself.
And how can you reconnect again?
With yourself.
I trust that you can do it.
Many people does it.
So you can too.
It's very simple.
It's as simple as taking one breath.
Trust in yourself.
Believe in yourself.
And believe in your practice.
That meditation.
Can only bring you benefit.
On the long term.
If you wish to share,
I would really like to know.
If you ever tried meditation.
.
.
Or not before and if you start to get into it.
Or how is your experience went so far?
And what it has changed in your life.
I would really like to hear about it.
So you can share it in the comments below.
Thank you so much for watching this video.
I'm sending you love from my heart to yours.
And I see you very soon.
And don't give up.
We all have moments.
Then we step out.
And we leave our practice for a couple of days,
Weeks,
Maybe months.
But come back.
Come back to meditation.
Because it's a practice that will never abandon you.
And it will be always there for you.
And don't beat up yourself or judge yourself that you missed a day or two or even a week or a month.
That's fine.
Life does happen,
You know.
But just get back to it.
Get back on your track.
Get back on your practice.
And continue to believe in yourself.
I believe in you.
So you should too.
