Hello,

And welcome to this meditation.

My name is Faith,

And I'm going to be your guide today to finding some stillness and some peace and intention for your day.

So begin by finding a nice,

Cozy spot that you feel comfortable in.

So consider maybe a nice chair that you can get cozy and comfy in,

Maybe laying on the ground.

Maybe you have a yoga mat or a bolster.

Wherever you feel the most comfortable,

Allowing yourself some space for about the next ten minutes to just sink in.

Alright,

So begin by finding your breath,

And just checking in with yourself to see what it feels like this morning.

Has it already been experiencing some worry about the day ahead?

Is that breath shallow or deep,

Fast or slow?

Wherever it is,

Slowly and gently start lengthening your inhales and lengthening your exhales.

Try inhaling to the count of four,

And exhaling to the count of five.

See how that feels.

Inhaling and exhaling.

And as you find stillness,

I want to read to you a part of a book that has really been meaningful in my life.

So the author is Marianne Williamson,

And the book is A Return to Love.

I love what she has to say here.

It goes like this.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light,

Not our darkness,

That most frightens us.

We ask ourselves,

Who am I to be brilliant,

Gorgeous,

Talented,

Fabulous?

Actually who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,

As children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us.

It's in everyone.

As we let our own light shine,

We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,

Our presence automatically liberates others.

Take a moment to really inhale and exhale as you take in those thoughts.

And as you bring awareness to your thoughts,

Are there some things that come to mind of areas in your own life that you may be playing small,

Allowing yourself to consider what are some ways to shine your own light in your life,

In your relationships?

Allowing us to bring an intention to mind.

I am worthy of shining brightly.

My light is unique and beautiful.

I embrace my true self with love and compassion.

I allow my inner light to shine without fear or hesitation.

My light inspires and uplifts others.

Which one of those stuck out to you?

Whichever one,

Taking a moment to really breathe that in,

Picturing it like a warm and glowing light.

With each breath,

Starting at your heart space,

Seeing that warm and glowing light grow and grow and grow,

Until soon your entire light is filled with this warm and glowing light.

It is full with that intention that you need so much in your life.

Take a few more deep breaths here,

Really feeling that light resonate within you,

Knowing that it's here to help guide you through your day.

You can carry it with you,

Inhaling and exhaling here.

Gently begin to bring awareness back to your breath,

Back to your body,

Moving gently your hands and feet,

Re-pointing and flexing those toes,

Wiggling those fingers,

Allowing a full body stretch.

So reaching those arms up overhead,

Taking a nice big inhale,

And as you exhale,

Go ahead and open your eyes.

I offer you this,

Carry this peace,

Carry this clarity,

Carry this light with you and let it guide you throughout your day.

Until we meet again,

Namaste.
