Hello.
Begin by noticing what your body is touching.
Your feet on the floor.
Your hands resting somewhere easy.
You're back supported if that's available to you.
I want to remind you.
That you don't need to make this moment look impressive.
You only need to show up for it.
So I want you to take your first deep breath in.
Pull it all the way up to the top and then release out of your mouth.
Let's take another one through the nose all the way up to the top.
In and out through the mouth.
A lot of suffering gets turned into a personal failure story.
If you are tired.
You think that you're being lazy.
If you are struggling.
You think that you're behind.
If you're overwhelmed.
Seem to think that you're broken.
Of sometimes what you're feeling.
Is not actually a flaw inside of you.
Sometimes it's an honest response to living inside systems built on extraction.
And pressure.
And inequality.
Clarity can be painful at first.
Because once you see the system clearly You cannot keep blaming yourself for things that were never yours to carry alone.
But clarity can also be relief.
It can loosen shame.
You could also help the body stop fighting ghosts.
You may have been trained to individualize every burden.
To think every hardship is about your choices,
Your discipline,
Your grind,
Your failure,
Your failure to optimize yourself hard enough.
That story keeps people isolated and obedient.
And too ashamed to compare notes.
And today you don't have to solve the whole system.
But you can simply allow yourself to see a little bit clearly.
You can acknowledge that confusion was never the same thing as truth.
You can also allow awareness.
To become a form of care.
Feel free to repeat these affirmations after me.
I am allowed to see things clearly.
My struggle is not always a personal failure.
Clarity helps me to release shame.
I trust myself to name what is real.
Awareness does not make me better,
But it makes me honest.
I can hold truth without losing tenderness.
Seeing the system clearly helps me to return to myself.
Understanding the system allows me to release responsibility.
Now take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale out of your mouth.
Let your body know that the truth doesn't have to be a threat.
Continue deep breaths.
Sometimes truth is the first place that relief begins.
Thank you for joining.
