Beloved,

Please come to the floor and lie down upon your back.

Spread yourself out like a star across the earth,

Allowing your heels to fall wide and your palms to face the sky in a gesture of total reception.

If it feels supportive,

Place a small pillow beneath your head or a blanket over your heart.

We are entering the temple of deep breath,

Where the noise of the world cannot follow.

For this time you have no obligations to meet,

No futures to secure,

And no lack to fill.

You are entering the infinite expanse of your own being.

In the world of the mind,

We are taught to measure our safety by what we can gather and hold.

We carry the weight of expectation in the tightness of our brow and the bracing of our breath,

As if our very survival depended on constant effort.

But here,

In the sanctuary of Yoga Nidra,

We remember that your true inheritance is written in the marrow of your bones and the rhythm of your pulse.

You are a child of a universe that is inherently abundant,

A landscape that breathes life into you with every passing moment.

We are here to let the not-enough dissolve into the vast golden silence of your own existence.

You are about to journey into the space between waking and dreaming.

In this sacred state,

The nervous system unbinds itself from the grip of worry.

We are going to rotate your consciousness through the body,

Planting seeds of peace in every cell,

Reminding your physical vessel that it is already and has always been fully nourished by the grace of life itself.

We begin by setting a seed of intention,

A sankalpa.

Let it be a simple,

Present tense truth that resonates in your heart.

You might whisper to yourself,

I am safe in the abundance of being,

Or my worth is unshakeable.

Repeat your chosen truth three times,

Letting it sink into the deep soil of your subconscious.

We will move the light of your awareness through the body.

As I name each part,

Do not move it,

Simply touch it with the spark of golden energy.

Bring your awareness to the right hand,

The right side of the chest,

The sole of the right foot.

Now,

Bring your awareness to the left hand,

The elbow,

The left side of the chest,

The sole of the left foot.

Feel the weight of the heels,

The heavy ball of the pelvis,

The entire spine from the tailbone to the base of the skull,

The tip of the nose,

The center of the heart.

Imagine now that a fine golden mist is beginning to rise from the earth,

Enveloping your entire body.

This mist is weightless,

And it carries the frequency of absolute security.

As you breathe it in,

Feel it filling the spaces between your cells,

Turning every worry into a shimmering particle of light.

You are floating in a sea of golden energy,

A field of pure potential,

Where every need is met before it is even whispered.
