Let's prepare to meditate.
Adjust your body so that you are sitting comfortably.
Close your eyes.
Rest your hands on your lap in any way that is comfortable for you.
Take a nice filling breath in.
Breathe deeply in through your nose and breathe out slowly through your mouth.
Do this again.
Now when you exhale,
Breathe out with a long sigh.
Do this breathing again a few more times to settle your mind and body.
You are ready to begin.
This meditation is called Top 3.
It's a moment in our day to spend with all of our favorite things and send them a little love and gratitude.
Let's begin by thinking of your top 3 favorite foods.
Think of your top 3 favorite animals.
Who are your top 3 favorite friends?
What are your top 3 sports to watch or play?
What are your top 3 subjects in school?
What are your favorite 3 books?
What are the 3 best holidays?
What 3 places would you like to visit on our planet?
What are the top 3 yummiest desserts?
What are your 3 favorite ways to relax?
What are your 3 favorite summer activities to do outside?
What are your 3 favorite restaurants?
What are your top 3 favorite things to do in the snow in winter?
What are your 3 most important qualities to look for in a friend?
Take a moment now to be happy and grateful for these things that you have tried or you have yet to try.
Imagine yourself doing some of your favorite things with some of your favorite people.
As our meditation comes to a close,
Draw your attention back to your real body.
Notice and feel where your body is touching the floor or chair.
Wiggle your fingers.
Wiggle your toes.
Take a deep breath.
Now go ahead and stretch out your body in any way that feels good to you.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes.
Now go out and find the magic in your day.
