Allowing self-judgment to take root.
Today,
We will step back from self-criticism and invite in self-compassion.
Take a comfortable seat.
Soften your shoulders and take a deep breath.
Let's begin.
Close your eyes and bring attention to your breath.
Imagine each inhale filling you with warmth and each exhale releasing tension.
Picture a part of you that carries self-doubt,
Perhaps a voice or a sensation in the body.
Instead of resisting it,
Gently acknowledge it.
I see you.
I know you are trying to protect me.
I acknowledge your presence.
Now,
Visualize a kind and compassionate presence,
Maybe a wise mentor,
A loved one,
Or even a future version of yourself.
Let them sit beside you,
Offering warmth and reassurance.
Hear them say,
You are enough.
You are worthy just as you are.
Breathe into this affirmation.
Repeat silently,
I release judgment.
I embrace self-compassion.
Let it settle into your heart.
Notice here how you feel.
Take a final deep breath in,
Letting self-acceptance expand within you.
As you exhale,
Release any lingering tension.
Slowly open your eyes and carry this feeling of compassion with you throughout your day.
