Take a moment to settle into stillness.
Whether you're seated,
Lying down or standing in a comfortable position,
Let your body relax.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Breathe in again filling your lungs and exhale releasing any tension.
With each breath allow yourself to arrive in this moment feeling present and open.
Now bring to mind something you are grateful for.
It could be a simple pleasure,
A warm cup of tea,
The kindness of a friend,
The sunlight streaming through your window.
Let this feeling of gratitude expand in your heart.
Now reflect on three things that brought you joy recently.
They don't need to be big,
Sometimes the smallest moments hold the most meaning.
A conversation that made you smile,
A peaceful moment of stillness,
The feeling of being supported or loved.
As each one comes to mind let yourself fully experience it.
See it,
Hear it,
Feel it.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale say to yourself I am grateful for this moment.
