Just gently closing the eyes,
Just giving yourself a moment to settle,
And to arrive.
Just starting to come into stillness,
Leaving behind the state of which you arrived.
Just being here,
Now,
In this deep and present moment.
Let's begin by taking some nice,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breaths in,
Slow exhales,
So breathing in to a count of 3,
4,
5,
Whatever feels cool for you,
And then breathing out for the same count,
Long,
Deep breath in,
Long,
Slow breath out,
And as you breathe in,
Feeling that expansion,
That sense of connection,
The softening of the body.
Continue to breathe in deeply,
And exhale slowly,
And letting go,
Slow breath out,
And as you breathe out,
Just arriving deeper and deeper,
And then on the next exhale,
Just returning to the natural rhythm of the breath,
Just allow yourself to be breathed,
For the breath to find its own rhythm,
And becoming aware of the space around you,
And the space within,
And the stillness that surrounds you,
And the stillness that resides within,
As we continue to connect,
And just noticing what's here now,
If there's any tension in the body,
Just offering a gentle awareness to any areas of discomfort,
Of tightness,
Just a soft awareness,
A conscious awareness of your breathing,
And allowing the breath to guide you deeper,
Deeper into the space and stillness,
Noticing any feelings,
Emotions,
Just observing,
No need to engage or connect,
And as you settle into the stillness,
Notice the sense of calm,
The mind won't want to distract you,
Pulling you into the future,
Or the past,
It's perfectly normal,
Just continuing to favour the meditation,
And focus on the breath,
Just allowing the mind and the body,
And now bringing awareness to the heart space,
And connecting to the heart,
Becoming aware of its beating,
Take a moment and offer,
Being thankful for being here,
And being you,
And all the gifts that you offer,
And now imagining a white line at the centre of the heart space,
And now bringing to mind,
And now imagining the light extending from your heart,
And connecting to the heart space,
This person,
As you offer and extend gratitude,
Appreciation,
And now extending that further and imagining those that you care for,
That are part of your life,
See their faces,
Send them your appreciation,
That they may be well,
And thrive,
And now bringing to mind,
Perhaps someone that's wronged you,
Or you have wronged,
Opening the heart space and extending the light,
So that they too may receive your kindness,
Your compassion,
To those that may be in need that we don't know,
Those that may be suffering,
And just again offering,
And now opening the heart space even more,
And sending out the light to all living beings,
Everywhere,
All across the planet,
May all living beings be taken care of,
May we all take care of each other,
And now you notice the light glowing,
As that love,
That gratitude and appreciation comes back to you,
And just breathing in,
That gratitude for self,
Bathe a moment in the light,
Let it heal your body,
Noticing the sensations in the body,
As you do this,
Become aware of the life that's living through you right now,
Noticing the glow of the light,
As it surrounds you,
And now from this space you might want to set an intention,
An intention for the day,
Simply set the intention,
And now slowly bringing conscious awareness back to the breathing,
And this time allowing the breath to pull you back,
And back to this present moment,
The weight of the body as it rests,
Just a gentle arriving,
Take a moment to notice,
Feeling the sensations of relaxation,
And of the stillness that you've brought,
The stillness that you can carry with you,
As you move through your day,
This connection,
And now taking a nice slow deep breath in,
